Retaking Goblintown, Angry Mob Raid---Ye Olde World Adventure!

This Saturday Sept 15th at 8pm Servertime, An Unexpected Kinship will be hosting an Angry Mob Raid in Goblintown. What is an Angry Mob Raid you ask? Well you dress up in Peasant/Farmer garb, equip a Pitchfork, Shovel, Fryingpan, or Butter Knife and you charge forth against the darkness as only an angry mob can! While primarily a kin event, anyone interested in taking part are welcome. If you are interested we ask that you RSVP on our facebook page @ http://www.facebook.com/pages/An-Une...69613586452491 or contact Huckfinn or Bowlgod in-game for more information.

Well Retaking Goblintown was a huge success with approximately 50 participants ranging from lvl 33 to lvl 75. We are planning to hold another event in this same style near the end of October. It'd be great to get more of Imladris involved in this really fun type of event!

Great raid Huck--thanks for all of your work organizing! Also a shout out to all of our awesome officers and kinnies for the fantastic turn-out. Where should we strike next with our frying pans and pitchforks?

Here is the version with no music, hopefully it won't be copyright blocked. Play some music you like in the background while you watch...

Outstanding run, Huckfinn! Although I was late and had to leave early, had a great time. Looking forward to the next!

So sad that i missed that , stupid gmt+1 timezone . 8pm server time is about 2-3am for me.
Maybe an idea for next time is making another angry mob raid for the europeans/asians and 1 for the americans?
If the Idea sounds good, i can help out organizing or.......i should just organize 1 myself . Anyways it seemed like you guys/girls had a lot of fun. Keep up the good work AUK.

This sounds like a bit of fun. I may have a few stout and cunning hearts to contribute to this... unconventional rabbling against the foul scourges on the countryside!

Just when is the October event? Also, you mention "Server time + 1"; what time zone is Imladris in?

The event was an amazing good time for all involved.

Although our server is truly international I believe that a majority of Imladris is in or near Servertime (EST, GMT-5) so most events would be scheduled around that timezone.

At this time I am no longer the Special Events Manager for AUK. I do expect great things from them this month and in the near future. If not posted here, you could contact an officer of that kinship if they are hosting any open events this month.
