    Aha! Mystery solved. Well I hope he is having a good time.

    I am afraid this answer is not it either, but you are right that each word of the clue is deliberate, including the word “space”.

    All guesses so far are nowhere near, as the answer is more obscure and less well-known than the suggestions given so far. Time for a clue:

    Sick folks’ space

    The answer is to be found somewhere in the Silmarillion.
