Yep, that's it! For some reason, the idea of the Stone fascinated me when I first read LotR, and I was just recently reminded of it while reading Tolkien's Letters.

    Anyway, you're up.

I would never have got that if I hadn’t literally done the oathbreaker bit in Enedwaith in the main quest yesterday! That is the beauty of the game; you learn so much about Tolkien that you either never knew or had forgotten. Apparently, this is the only adaptation to actually feature the stone “in person”, so kudos to the devs there.

    OK, next riddle:

    Band surrendered willingly

This one had me completely stumped, but I think I might be onto something with this answer, well maybe...

When Bilbo passed the One Ring on to Frodo, he became the only Ring-bearer to surrender it willingly in the Ring's history.

    That's my guess anyway

    Hello!

I had a suspicion this would come up as a guess, and it makes good sense, but it is not the one I was looking for...

Sorry, gone cold... first guess was much closer to putting their finger on the answer... just the wrong finger on the wrong answer...

How about the finger of Arvedui when he removed from his finger the Ring of Barahir and surrendered it to the chief of the Snowmen in Forochel?

I'll give it a shot, When Sam gave the ring back to Frodo at Cirith Ungol?

Another one that sprang to mind, but it is the wrong ring...

I should perhaps have made my riddle a little more specific in the first instance, with so many possible answers!

The surrender of this band crossed racial boundaries and made it very well-travelled.

    Is then the answer Narya?

The ring Narya was given from Cirdan to Gandalf.

That’s the one I was looking for! The ring of fire, and the only one of the elf rings that was given away (Galadriel and Elrond kept the other two, of course). Cirdan the Shipwright gave his to Gandalf as he sensed that he would need it and use it well (or something like that, I can’t find the actual quote).

    You’re up!

    No.

Edit: I read Hobbit only once, so I needed to do some searching (my book is miles away from me). Indeed, Bombur had some nice dreams after falling in the river, but it is bound to the river and not to the weather.

The Fellowship experienced bad weather when trying to cross the Misty Mountains by the Pass of Caradhras. This "weather" was caused by Saruman.

Since there are already some answers and some time passed, I will give you a hint:

There is silver involved in some way.
