Hunter looking to do Draigoch's Lair

I'm curious if any kins are still doing Draigoch?

I purchased the instance a little while ago but never see any PUGs in GLFF for it like I do for ToO (DrFoster's) and the various 6 and 3-mans. I have read so much about the Raid since there are countless numbers of walkthroughs posted online. It's just not the same as doing it live of course.

My kin is relatively small but a terrific group. We only have a few active level 75's right now otherwise I'd happily grab them (and friends) to do it the old fashioned way by trial-and-error. I'd still like to get there eventually but I thought I might try to learn from an experienced group if they'd consider it.

I have completed Roots, Forges, Pits, etc... many many times on T1 and several times now on T2 with PUGs or kinmates. So while that isn't definitive proof of anything, I can hopefully say that I'm not a complete waste of pixels during the fights. Without having completed the ToO instances for the same reasons (though I've tried it with random groups a couple times and come very close on one occasion - <20% left on both bosses in F&F), I think I am geared pretty much about as well as you can be - 4 x Galtrev, GR crafted cloak, etc.., LG jewellery, 2nd age weapons, maxed out virtues, and so on.

** I have a variety of different jewellery in my bags to shift agility for morale, power, etc... depending on what I'm doing so the stats you see can be adjusted somewhat, i.e. I can max my agility to ~1850 by sacrificing morale for example

Ok so while there are some who may not agree...I am not a idiot :-)

I can follow directions very well and hopefully be an asset, as opposed to a burden, on the raid for you. In the only other MMO I actively play, I'm in what has been (we're on a bit of a lull now after a lot of player burnout) one of the more successful clans in a game which takes a fair bit of coordination and teamwork.

Anyways, I don't know if this will help but I thought I'd put it out here to see if anyone might consider. GLFF can sometimes be like a frat house (well maybe more like daycare) so I chose here instead of there since I didn't feel like being trolled in real time.

Feel free to comment here or if you prefer in game I'll post both my hunter and my lower level Mini who I play as well.

    Thanks

    Malverin (lvl 75 hunter)
    Willanrond (lvl 55 Minstrel)

We still run it. I'll put your toons on my friends list and keep an eye out for you when we're short.

Malverin, my kin runs Draigoch 2-3x per week, but because of our size we don't really pull from out of kin. If you are serious about running the end game runs I recommend 2 different options if you like your current kin. #1 be social and make lots of friends, so you have a big pool of people to hit up. #2 help your kin recruit more players. More people means more fun and more big 12-man runs! Feel free to put my 75 toons on your friends list, I'd be happy to help whenever. Daanzig, Huckfinn, Mosis.

Thanks Daanzig, great advice. yes I've been loading up with friends list with all the lvl 75's I run PUGs with and trying to gauge interest. No issues with 3 & 6-mans, can do those anytime I want. The 12-man is tougher but I have managed to get an invite from a group who did ToO Acid and finished it so that was a great bonus.

Yeah we are always recruiting and also helping kinmates level up so it is coming but will takes a few more months before we have enough lvl 75's + a broad range of them to get the right mix. Another suggestion I'd have for anyone in the same boat is to find a kin in a similar situation and see if you can work together.

Appreciate the offer, I'll add your toons to my list.

    Malverin,
I regulary lead one of those Draigs that Daanzig was talking about. Like he said, we always fill from kin, for a number of reasons. However, you can add Kaloin and Kalindir (my current main 2) to your list, and we can talk more.
There are days when I'm so obnoxious, I want to /ignore myself.

First, thanks Amicitia! That is very kind of you, even if I died like 12 times trying to get past that opening part of Draigoch where you try to avoid the light/fire lol. Took me a bit to figure out when to where to look, the timing, where to stop (and not stop) and most importantly not to follow other people.

Anyways you beat me to it. I planned to post today that I owed a huge amount of thanks to Amicitia and her great kinship 'The Night Watch' for inviting me along on 2 occasions this weekend. First on Saturday for an epic 4-5 hour run through 4 ToO instances (F&F, Acid, Lightning and Shadow). Followed on Sunday by a Draigoch run. All led by Audene (sorry if I mispelled) who was incredibly helpful and does an amazing job leading the raids. I was taking notes as much as I could...so much to remember. Audene even made me DPS raid assist for a couple of the ToO runs - lol thanks for the vote of confidence. No added pressure on my first time haha! I know I screwed up your DPS order a couple times but I hope I didn't do too bad :-)

So from the bottom of my heart, thanks again to Amicitia, Audene, the other Night Watch kinsman and friends for letting me tag along.

Also thanks so much much to Iorviel and the Tarcirian Knghts who actually gave me my first shot at a ToO run 2 weekends ago when they did ToO Acid. Another fabulous group who walked me through every step of the run and helped immensely especially with the final acid boss 'dance' which took me 2 tries to get right but finally survived after a reset and one rez. The exploding slugs however had my number several times, but I'm happy to say I learned from my mistakes and didn't let them get me once in my run with 'The Night Watch'!

So looking forward to hopefully joining you guys again when you have a spot and anyone else who can use a now 'mildly experienced' ToO and Draigoch raider. Now back to earning seals for those ToO armour sets!

    Cheers
