Don't buy a house/homestead. Use vault and milestones

The cost of a home is about 1000 silver plus 200 silver / month. You can upgrade a vault for silver and buy another milestone skill for 350 lotro bucks. You can buy a package of 5 milestones for 1750 and get Hurried Traveler (30 min cooldown). You can access your vault in the major cities. I'd much rather have a bigger vault and many milestones.

    Because:
space is very limited. No matter how much you buy, you're going to want more.
People want to save their TP on more worthwhile things.
200 silver is like pennies to most players.

    Trophies

You need the house to put the trophies on display!
Plus you did not figure in your healer and repair discounts and the housing store.
Those add up to a pretty penny especially to the heavy armor wearers.

Thanks for coming and showing us all your wisdomzz. Some of us prefer not to pay in turbine points (RL money). Also, the 20% discount you get in the neirbourhood usually pays for some players (repairs/buying pots)
