    By the way, if there's a timer on flipping put in place, we need some way to figure out which side has #s before ever heading out to the Moors. I flip for 2 reasons: to go to the side with less #s, or to help defend Lug or TR for the respective side so each side has a rez. I don't like being part of the side that is zerging because it's just boring to me. If I'm not gonna be able to flip that would just annoy me and make me pvp less.

    Everyone please remember... dev's can not really change freep DPS/Healing output. There is a HUGE world the freeps play in, and if they change a freeps healing output, it might break all of PvE land for the freeps.

    Change the creeps.

    I like all the landscape and keep changes, nice ones with DoF.
    The rest I'll have to find out about only from playing.

    Provide monster players with level cap character advancement.
    I saw this near the top of the Dev Diary and didn't know if it referred to more commendations grinding for skills and audacity or if it indicated something else entirely. Could someone with better reading comprehension than I steer me in the right direction?

    So we have to use level 75 armor while we get the 85 pieces? (For audacity)

    I rather have a level 85 armor with 1 audacity that we can barter it with our current pieces than a 10% discount for the 2 audacity ones, assuming the difference in stats that they will probably have.

    If I read it right the side with all the bonuses will get about 200 acc per kill.
    The weeker side trying to get some keeps back from a fully buffed side will only get 100 acc per kill.

    So the Insentive is to get more keeps or to log onto stronger side?

    Need to prevent switching?

    I cant wait to see how it plays out.

    Having read thru the comments i do aggree with the person who asked to remove a group/raid range restrictions. Lets face it if there is a nice pvp battle going, who wants to be delegated to go grab and output to boost your % up 10% and lose out on the reknown/comms.

    And i will say am not looking forward to another comm grind for armor, especially since freeps have to level to 85 where creeps just poof to 85 and will be able to get their armor asap...

    From the set bonuses i've seen there shouldn't be a huge boost of stats between lvl 75 and 85 armour sets (67 agi -> 76 agi so should be like 134 main stat -> 152 no more than a 200 increase on main stat overall, something good indeed but doesn't make previous set worthless), nowhere comparable to the stat jump we had in RoI with removal of caps, so u might as well keep the old set up and start to swap piece by piece

    about whoever said that legendary items are a pve thing, i wanted to make clear that their are as much, if not more, needed in pvmp, 2nd agers being avaible to high ranked pvpers is in line with the idea of providing separate path of itemization between pvmp and pve

    A few things:

    1. Lowering cd on warg hips is a bad idea.

    2. The minstrel dissonance set bonuses... are not good. The 5 piece bonus gives me just about no incentive to get it. Also, Moving the SoS bonus to the 5 piece means I can't even 3/3 between the two sets to get an actually useful bonus. Maybe have the dps set give an increased chance to crit as well as the cd reset. Then I'd consider it.

    3. Commendation grinding freepside is going to suck. A lot. And we won't be effective fighters til we've done it.

    Well he would troll on his own risk :P. I see dead trolling burg :P. But it would make for interesting strategies, like sending a medieval court jester besiege a keep whereas the main force stands behind the capital city waiting to burn it :P.

    +1 to flip CD

    ...and with these changes, autoscaling <85lv freeps wouldn't hurt either, *especially* in case of smaller servers; freeps like those would still be cannon-fodder if scaled to some vanilla-geared 85, but greenie creeps deserve a snack too

    That is exactly what creeps are like right now except they've also got to spend tens of thousands of comms on skills and traits if they are new to creepside.

    Feedback to the Ettens Dev Diary

    A lot of good ideas in the diary; thanks for making these changes. As others have pointed out the success will hinge on the details. Performing a good Beta on Bullroarer and reacting to the results is as critical as the changes themselves. As an example getting a HoT and Shield Bash for my WL is something I look forward to using from my Guardian experiences. The amount of healing/damage, CD and impact assigned to these two skills will dictate whether they get used proactively, reactively or at all.

    Other items:
    1. Please fix the WL bug! Having to crash out of the game twice in the same night while the rest of your raid is effectively handicapped and burning time until it can be reformed is a major issue with the WL class. We have stopped using some auras altogether and assigned the few auras that are still used to one per fellowship.

    2. Please consider refunding commendations for audacity/skills/traits to those who purchased them at the higher costs. If possible at least refund comms to the lower levels (L1-L5ish?) so they can get the basic skills they need.

    3. I solo on my WL when I can. Rezzing, bubbling and healing others is what we shine at- not our current DPS. While I'm ungrouped I still perform these tasks as much as possible. It would be a nice touch to see this activity rewarded/encouraged. This is a minor issue on my priority list however- I'll still do it and announce in OOC "WL rezzing xyz- on your feet maggots!" but a +1 inf/com bump per rez per character would be a nice add.

    I agree with you about the Warg HIPS CD. We have too many ezmoding/starhugging wargs that use it to escape from some fights that are actually pretty fair, or to gank at 1v1s whenever their CD's are up. However, hopefully the warg population will decrease a bit if this update actually balances things out, so maybe this won't be too bad in the long run.

    As for Commedation grinding, welcome to a Creep's World . Oh the irony!

    I love the idea of landscape changes, moving OC/EC, the rez circles - brilliant!! Traits ignoring some freep mitigation... JBarry for Prez!

    I have to agree about the WL bug though a good night of action is often ruined early just by a little CC+Lag+Stacking Fellowship buffs (i.e. the WL armor buff... aura of..err) I have sighed many times approaching TR and seeing the WLs glide out of the keep stuck in the animation of the stun/mez/root (you can still see the trap on there foot)

    Speaking as a warg... Add an 0 to the hips(/sprint) cd, or just remove hips. EM would be so much better without that skill...

    Indeed....who would want to actually loose comms and points to ? It would encourage some sort of bullying. . And to be honest i never got the range limit of getting points you CONTRIBUTED to. Just today i retreated to early and lost 3 kills i have contributed to. But how to prevent people just standing in GY and having points pour to them? Im not familiar with the way points are given so cant suggest anything.

    Bah, I forgot about linked bosses already - in that case it's, sadly, less trollololo

    So either risk everything and dps all inhabitants of Tyrant room gradually, "OD Disease style" or invoke angry Eye popup. Won't change much in case of zergs - unless those buffs for mobs are truly remarkable - but "ninja group" will have one more obstacle.

More tact mit for freeps is a TERRIBLE idea... 60%+ is already way too high... my bleeds (which are our "main" source of dps) that are supposed to hit for 120+ each tick... hit for 50-60 while LM dots (and basically every other freep dot) has a higher damage rating (base and they hit harder since we don't have 60% tact mit) and last longer... (curse you 1 min dots...)

    P.P.P.S. I really hope that you meant "reduced" here: "Remorseless Strike Pip Cost Removed"...
    Don't worry there still may be enough hunters that play so wargs won't starve. Really didn't you see sprint and disappear now 3 min timer. A skill that blows by 50% mits and one that takes 10% off the target? This will probably stack with the other mit bypassing skills and traits wargs have so you will be hitting all the time. They are increasing creep healing 40% and giving new skills and so far you keep your increased morale and mits... is this really QQ from a warg?

    My hunter is not going to stand a chance out there not that I have much of one right now. NO changes to the worthless hunter gear. Remember you and spiders were supposed to be light armor classes... that is why they buffed your morale and mits highter than my hunter now with increased damage and healing creep side we should see 6- 7k wargs instead of 9-11k wargs. BAs are medium armour should be now 7-8k like hunters but nothing is posted about a morale reduction.

    Ooooor make HIPS gice stealth for say 5 seconds then brutally pop out of stealth not able to go back for another 5 sec). So if you actually have a safe point to go and recover you go behind the lines. If nothing is hunting you down the 5 sec with NO stealth wont kill you. If you hipsed with 80 morale just to anger the freeps youll get whats coming to you. (i should be posting that on warg forum and watch the flame burn).

    As for sprint....thers nothing for it, its chicken skill and cannot be changed.

    Thank you Turbine.

    We have been waiting for years to get some changes done, changes that didn't affect our gaming experience in a negative way.

    Finally we are getting our boat rocked, finally the storm comes that will wipe it all out, so that we can start all over again, and learn from the mistakes that were previously made.

    Do I know if the changes will be easy to adapt to? Or even better than it used to be? No I don't, but I am prepared for a change. Any change.
