To be honest the 2-hand sword is the best option for captains. This is because of the man sword bonus, the attack/skill animations are smoother/quicker, and most of all the miss chance reduction.

Are you suggesting the animations with the sword are quicker? They aren't. This is no longer SoA or MoM. Weapon speed normalization. Perhaps the damage is applied ever so slightly earlier in the sword swing animation (but I doubt it because they cut that out for bows vs xbows), but the length of a skill rotation with an axe is the same as a rotation with a sword is the same as a rotation with any 2hander.

    I use a Battle-Axe.

    Why? Two Words:

    Armor Piercing

Actually I like the look and (more importantly) the swings and stance. The halbard is held beside the Captain, the Axe is held in front and it looks better.

somewhere around Captain Lou Albano status.
Out of curiousity, where does Captain Kangaroo fall on the metric?

(I'd ask about Captain Planet but we all know he's at the top of the food chain)

im ashamed to admit that i had forgotten Captain Kangaroo!

    definatly above Capn Krunch!

id even say he tops Capntain Planet, but thats more an age-apporopriate response and not a knock on his Capn skillz

The Bleach anime series is done. The Bleach manga series is on its last plot arc and then it will end as well. But finishing up that final arc may take a year or two.

EDIT: Regarding the original post's question, I prefer a halberd but for the moment I'm using a two-handed greatsword (legendary item) because it has the best LI statistics.
