New player looking for (RP) Kinship.

Hello everyone, I'm a newbie to LOTRO - started earlier this month - and I'm beginning to get a feel for the game.

I'm looking for a kinship to get a bit more out of the social aspect of the game.

    What I'm looking for:
    -Kinship with no racial restrictions
    -Medium to Heavy RP
-A pool of people with which I can team up my character(s) for fellowships, so we can combine questing and instances with roleplaying. In my experience this works best with characters who regularly interact, otherwise the combat and game aspects will overshadow the RP. To me, the challenge I seek is combining dangerous adventure with some RP content - camping, healing, cooking, IC tactics, etc.

    What I offer:
-Main character: Heddacurly, Lvl~24 Hobbit Hunter, Jeweller (Hope tokens for all!). She's a young, adventurous Stoor (rather Tookish, if you will), who is anxious to make a (modest) mark upon the world. Loves wandering, hunting goblins, undead and other blights upon the land, camping, riding, tinkering, and a good dinner, ale, and song.
-Other character plans include a male elf Lore-Master Scholar (or Runekeeper, ideally all three, but you can't have everything), but he requires some more planning and name-smithing.
-A player with 15+ years of RP experience and a massive love for Tolkien's worlds (moderate on the lore-knowledge, I would say), but relatively new to MMORPGs and its peculiarities.

Let me know if you'd like to have me and Heddacurly aboard some time! She's usually wandering the Lone-Lands and Bree-Land at this point, but loves making trips back to the Shire and beyond.

Any questions? Pls feel free to contact me in game @ Farathan.

I've applied Hedda for the Knights of Eriador, but I've also set up my second character Calande now.

He's a Lindon Elf Loremaster / Historian, and hanging around Ered Luin for now. For him, I'd also be interested in a kinship and/or some like-minded people to travel with, share crafting fruits, etc.

I'll be playing both chars off and on, depending on my mood.

I highly suggest you take a look at Laurelin Archives first before you decide. There, most if not all RP Kinships are listed nicely by race, have full details and even pictures

For example, for those who love Hobbit RP, there are quite a few great Hobbit only RP kins that are very active

    Good luck

    Thank you Cris.

For hobbit rp if you've a mind, then look up People of the Shire - who are currently rushing around organising the pies and ale for the up-coming Summer Poetry competition they host each quarter.

Or there's the Grand Order of the Lost Mathom - who are hosting again tonight there fort-nightly market in Micheal delving.

Thanks, you two. I have been peering over LA as well, yes.

People of the Shire sounds like something fit for Hedda as well. I tihnk it would be best for her to meet some folks IC and see what works best for her.

As for Calande: I've been looking at the The Eldariant Alliance, and specifically Linna na Gelaidh and its Wilderness Appreciation events. Those latter would be right up his alley.

Any places or people in game that I should look for in particular to get to know more about these groups?

Oh, and a total newbie question: Do all your characters have to belong to the same kinship?

Oh my, The Silver Blades look nice as well. Now I'm confused.
