[EVENT] - A Songburrow Stroller's Concert at Budgeford!

Concert 2 - Milo Bolger's Farm, Budgeford (Sunday 24th June)

Following on from the previous concert at Farmer Maggot's, the Songburrow Strollers are pleased to announce their next farm concert. Not to be outdone by Farmer Maggot, Milo Bolger has kindly offered up his farm in Budgeford to allow the Strollers to play a special concert for Lithe.

The concert will not only celebrate the farms of the Shire, but will also celebrate mid-summer's day, which as all hobbits know is a time of great feasting and merriment. Prior to the concert there will be a short gathering beside the stables, where food and drink will be served, after which the concert will begin!

Milo Bolger's farm is in the North East corner of Budgeford, and is home to many a fine pig, although he has promised to move them out of the way to make room for plenty of dancing hobbits.

Folks of all shapes and sizes are welcome to attend, although tall folk should be polite enough to stand at the back so as not to block the views of the little folk.

The Songburrow Strollers are fresh back from a little venture on a tall hill somewhere out of bounds. Weary, bounced out and fresh out of biscuits, them hobbits are still quite pleased that they managed to bring back a furrin-looking cup of sorts.

Still, no time to rest, no no. The Budgeford concert is less than a week away. Time to rehearse! Time to pick the songs to play! Time to pack sausages and ales for the next stop in the Farms of the Shire tour! Sunday June 24, everyone! Welcome!

Oh, and here is a little teaser...

Oh my, that's this weekend! I better make sure I didn't leave my lute behind at Weatherstock!

And I should point out, one should never, ever, poke a bee hive. It wasn't fun!

Does anyone know what outfit the Strollers are wearing? I am interested in the robe in particular.

's a Long Dwarf-make Robe, tastily dyed in a suitable shade of green! *nods*

Else, it was grand to see so many peoples there today, especially given them real-life happenings involving lots of lankies chasing a round object on a grassy field! Us Strollers had a good time, and I hope yer did too!

Pictures are likely soon coming. In the meantime, sing along to the Sausages in Budgeford song!

Thank you Strollers for a most delightful concert (and the splendid hat!)!

Not to forget, somewhat late congratulations on taking the Weatherstock cup. You did a spectacular show.

Thank you, Linawillow. It caught my eye because of the lovely decoration on the back.

A great concert from the Strollers, with lots of my favorites being played. The bonus was taking home a nice string of sausages for my breakfast. The only problem i had was getting my pony stuck in the mud when i tried to rescue the farm cat from a puddle. Several other poor hobbits ended up getting stuck when they tried to help me. My thanks to them for getting me out so i could cook my sausages. Pies for all as a reward when you next visit my burrow in Ando's End. Mellam
