    How to run?

Hi. I only know how to walk very slowly. How do you run? I see players doing it at twice my speed? I am a level 2 Champion.

Try hitting "insert" on your keyboard. It works as a run/walk toggle.

Some character types have skills that make them run faster too (i.e. hunters, wardens) but this sounds like it may just be your insert key.

Hope it works or I'll stop playing.

champions only have 3 speeds normal run, walk and stop
if you want to run faster youll need to roll a hunter or warden or get a horse

I think he is referring to the 'insert' key. That didn't work?

like in my post above there are only 2 speeds for champions
run which is the standard speed your toon should start of at.. this is the normal running speed, only hunters and wardens can run faster
and walk which is realy slow
you toggle walk\run by pressing the insert key and switches between the 2 as you press the insert key ie run>walk>run>walk

hunters and wardens both have an extra skill which they need to enable to make them run faster. if you want to run faster as a champion you need to be in a fellowship with a hunter otherwise your stuck with normal speed run or walk

    Re: How to run?

And Guardians have skill that gives them a 7 seconds speed boost.

But OP stated in first post he knows how to talk slowly, so that means he knows both ways.
The run on his champion may seem slow compared to Hunter or Warden.

Another problem could be a movement debuff from falling from great height.
When you fall but not get killed from the fall you get a debuff on your momvement speed.
Also some mobs have attacks ( mostly wounds I think) that put a debuff on you that lowers speed.

You forget the 4th champion speed, and his most important defensive skill in the moors, called "Sprint to the Keep" AKA "Charge with Sprint? No way, I need it to flee"

    Re: How to run?

"Lock Run Forward" is probably what you're looking for. Try Num Lock. If that isn't the right key (in case I changed mine from default) look under options (Ctrl +O) Key Mapping, Lock Run Forward.

    Re: How to run?

If you're using a laptop, "insert" may not work, depending on key binds. Check the UI to see what key bind you can make for running.
