    The Ecsploits of Ec

(Yes, I did that on purpose)

    From September 25

Figured I would share some screenies of my travels.

Bought a keg during the Spring Festival...those hobbits make some mean liquior. One time, I woke up in the Boar Fountian in Bree

The other, well...let's just say I would have *preferred* the dog house...

Then there was the really neat (if evil) looking waterfall in Mirkwood that Adan and I explored.

Then Adan pushed me off....blasted wife aggro

Then my buddy Drumheller decided to go for a drink from my keg...and well, in a rather UN-elvish fashion, he managed to drink himself straight to the Bree Jail House. Silly point-ear couldn't even stand up while being "talked to" by the warden.

I had a picture of Drumheller waking up in jail...but he threatend to EC me....which sounds like it may be painful, so I took down his pic...from here at least.

That's all for now, more Ecsploits to follow.

    Re: The Ecsploits of Ec

October 1st: So this week has marked a new exploration into Duneland, heading towards Isengard. As I've quested around I have met some very interesting people. One taught me a new game called "Keep Ec off the ground". He was very good at it. However, when trying to take a picture during one of my flights...I dropped the camera. Needless to say, I was angry with this gentelman and explained myself in no uncertian terms. However, somehow before he died, he taught others this new game.....

Had to pay a visit to a friend, an Emisary for the White Hand, but he wasn't home. I sat around and waited for him. He didn't seem to happy to see me...but I can't understand why....

Then while wandering around I somehow managed to anger about half a pack of wolves. Maybe they were just mad that I didn't stop to say hello as i ran through their den. So I introduced myself as Ecsymth, The Blender of Death, and told them to tell their friends about me, as I would likely be sticking around awhile. For some reason...word is slow to travel...

A few week ago, I was part of a glorious Dragon takedown, but it was such an exhausting fight, I had to take a nap. I figured that the dragon-keeper wouldn't mind me borrowing his bed, but damn it was uncomfortable.

That's all for now, happy hunting.

    Re: The Ecsploits of Ec

    Part 1 of 3
October 13: Yes, yes, my in-game Ecsploits had to be put on hold for some real life ecsploits.

But never fear, for I return, with new Ecsploits to share. Lots happening in Dunland this week, or rather in Isenguard.
However, before I tell you about my week, I have to share a pet-peeve. Ever been harvesting something (ore, wood or scholar mats), and some jerk of an orc has to come and stick his nose in your business? Well that heppend to me earlier, and I was so mad, I forgot to use my weapons as I beat him to a pulp!

So anyway, earlier I helped out some rather friendly, if suspuscious Falcon-Clan members (near where I discovered that peaceful snowman village), and wouldn't you know it, the jerks...no wait...that's not right..."misguided individuals" sold me out!

So there I was in Isenguard, but figured I would be able to wear my own armour, being the BA that I am (and no, I don't mean Black Arrow)...but I met a new friend (who didn't like me much)

And he made me wear my..."proper" prison-garb

End part 1 for Image Limits

    Part 2 of 3

So, for a while I was forced to be the good little slave...I'm sorry, "resident domestic helper", and carry junk all around that bloody place

    and at first I didn't get shoes..."illegitimate" orcs, I mean, corrupted point-eared jerks, I mean...."non-tradationaly-born mixed race elves"...whew...

Well, eventually, I blew the place up (almost literally) and got out. For all my trouble I got a new outfit, and a rockin' Palantir.

I used it to give Sauron the finger as well, Flaming-Eyed-Jack-hole...I mean....ah screw it!

After my adventures in Isenguard, I just had to take a nap

But then decided to get drunk instead, using the handy keg in my storage room:

If I ever find out who dumped me in Annuminias...I'm going to Blender them to bits!

    Re: The Ecsploits of Ec

Finally, I made my way back to Dunland, to pay my....respects....to those wonderful Falcon-Clan member for sending me on that wonderful trip.

They weren't too happy to see me...could have because the way I was asking where everyone was...with my sword...both of them....

Answers were not very forth-coming....just blood....

But even though they brought a mob, I wasn't daunted. I had some harsh words for the leader of the Falcon-Clan, something about him not seeing the sun rise:

Then faced the mob with the words, "For those about to die, I salute you!"

Sadly, I had to let them leave un-Blended....there were just too much for me, even in puree mode.

But their day will come....I will kill everyone of those treacherous "illegitimates"..I mean....no, you know what...that is EXACTLY what I mean!!!

    Until next time, Happy Hunting!!

But never fear, for I am Ecsmyth, The Blender of Death, and I will wade into battle with my new battle cry:

I don't know what it means either...but maybe...just maybe...it will confuse my enemies to death. Makes my job so much easier.

    Then again....

    ....maybe not.

I need a new battle cry.

That's all for now. Happy Hunting!

    Re: The Ecsploits of Ec

    Part 1 of 3

    October 22:

It is that time again, to update all of you who are following the sometimes exciting and often silly Ecsploits of Ec! This week, Isenguard, Family time, Festival and Raiding.

You may remember that last week saw me a captive of Isenguard and pressed into labor at the hand of some filthy orcs (grumble, grumble). Well, this week saw me heading down to take some well deserved revenge. But on the way I got distracted by shiny things, not to mention a big cave, where I found something else big.

All I can say is, if that is just the size of its head....I would hate to get in its way. Looks like if could have eaten me and used my swords for toothpicks.

After the smelly cave with giant skulls, I ended up another cave called the pit of iron. I know it was the orcs who named it...cuase any idiot could see it was a pit of rock...but those orcs aren't just any idiot...they are special idiots. Anyway, this time I wasn't alone in the cave: Adanraen, the Harbinger of Long Range Pointy Death was with me, and we decided to make some new friends:

For some reason, nobody wanted to be friends with us, or join in with any of our crazy games. And here I thought that "Pin the Orc to the ground" and "Let's see what's inside" were favorites the world over...guess not.

Since he didn't want to play with us, I had to amuse myself for a while.

...Adan sometimes refuses to be seen with me in public, but I don't know why.....

Shortly after our failed attempt to interact with some orcs in the Pit of Iron (Rocks), Adan and I decided to take a short break, and enjoy the Fall Festival by getting lost in the Haunted Burrow. Little did we know that we would be attacked in there!!

...well...so....how were we supposed to know it was just a hobbit playing a joke? Besides...does anyone really care what happens to a hobbit....?

    Re: The Ecsploits of Ec

    Part 2 of 3

It would seem that either the spiders, or the guy in green care about what happens to a hobbit, and put Adan and I in time out for what we did....

Honestly...I didn't hit him with my sword....at least, not very hard....

Well..for a little while Adan and I got separated and I stumbled upon a "Cloaked Figure". He was dark and mysterious...and......creepy.. ..and he said things....and before I knew it....

..I found myself swearing my eternal allegiance to him....

I really hope that doesn't come back to bite me later....

Needless to say, I got a little creeped out, so I found Adan and we booked it out of the Haunted Burrow to some place a little safer...Barad Guldur...hey at least I know I can attack things here without having to worry about whining little hobbits...

...oh...well...at least I won't be the one making the hobbit whine! Unless I mistakenly ebb on to one of them.......

As the doors slammed ominously behind us, I glanced at the two beings guarding our way forward.

This is going to be a long night.

    (Holy long post Batman!)

Hail fellow adventurers! It is that time again, to update you on the Ecploits of Ec.

Before I share this week's travels with you, I must make a disclaimer:
I do not know how all these bodies got here. I was out of town when they all died, and would never think to disrupt a natural environment in such a profoundly evil way.

On another note, did you know that soggy rope is very very weak?

This past week was a bit slow in terms of adventure...new undiscovered lands are few and far between. However, as I scouted the Ford of Isen, I discovered something...interesting...

Hmmm, I said to myself...A gate. Not guarded, just locked. Needless to say I was curious. I tried my "master key" but that wood was too tough to be hack n' slashed open, so I decided a more subtle approach:

Despite many attempts to gain entry, the gate remained closed. Then something shiny caught my eye and I wandered away. Maybe I just need a better sword....an older sword....maybe someday soon I will obtain one.

For the next few days I wandered rather aimlessly....distracted by shiny things and other things that I could use my swords on, and since I was intentionally avoiding anything Hobbit sized (after that debacle last week in the Haunted Burrow....whiney half-pints...), I decided to find something a bit...bigger...or at least, definitely not a hobbit.

Though, he wasn't too happy to be introduced to my friends Stabby and Slashy either...there is just no pleasing some people...demon...things...

    Re: The Ecsploits of Ec

    Part 2 of 4

I also ran into a friend from an old kin and sat and had a chat with him for a bit. I say "sat" not because we talked for too long, but because I didn't want to give him a crick in his neck, so I sat down.

Remember people, Courtesy is key, even hobbits have feelings.
(I would like to take this time to mention that any ripping I do on hobbits is purely humorous in nature....hobbits are great, with their cute little fuzzy feet...he he...I wanna pet 'em..)

I also took some time to visit the School and Tham Mirdian again. A wonderful place to go, where there are plenty of filthy Orcs and Dunlendings to kill.

Now, some of you may be wondering...what is Ec doing there? Is he..praying? Well, yes...yes I am. Praying that my enemies will continue to be dumb and not realize that the key to not getting killed is to not get hit with the sharp pointy things I'm swinging around. So far...nobody has figured it out.

As I continued my adventures, I decided that I needed some better equipment. The jewelry I am wearing has lost its luster, what with all the blood covering it. So I decided to talk to this guy I know, but guess what. That.....individual....told me that I didn't have enough standing with his "faction". You'd think helping them advert one war so they could focus on another would be enough, not to mention I've talked to their prince-dude...but no. My rep wasn't big enough yet. Apparently being the Blender of Death isn't enough for this jack hole. So he sent me off to this cave, to talk to a dwarf who can help me out. So I went...

And as soon as I realized where I was (I thought the ride here looked familiar), I started to cry...

I hate the Pit of Iron (rocks). I really do. But even so, I do have to admit it is one heck of a view:

After leaving "that place" (I think that is how I will always think of the Pit of Iron anymore), I decided to wander around some old familiar territory: Enedwaith. Riding past Gwibers and Giants, I found a path leading up the hill into a cave that I hadn't seen before. Being the naturally curious adventurer that I am, I bravely entered not thinking about what might be in a giant creepy looking cave in the mountain-side. At first I saw nothing...just darkness. As I strolled along, I saw a hole in the wall. So I decided to take a look:

    What's down here, I thought...

Oh! A dragon. Well, that's pretty ne-

    ...nuts...

Ok...let's try that again, staying away from the holes...stupid curiosity...

    That....that's a big head....
    My...what bright eyes you have....
    I....I...
I'm gonna need some help with this guy.

So I ran and god Adanraen and we both went into the cave. We worked our way down, because, well, I needed to see this dragon. Surely, I thought, surely he can't be *that* big....right?

    Um...well

I think we're gonna need a bigger group

That is all for now. Stay tuned for a special Draigoch installment, coming soon.

Post 1 of 5 (Holy Cow)

    Hail Fellow Adventurers!

Apologies for the "Special Draigoch Episode" being so late, Real Life exploits got in the way of the Ecsploits.

But never fear, for I am here...now.

As promised this is a special installment all about the Draigoch Raid, but I must warn you, it is a whopping 20 images long...yeesh, that's 5 posts here.....I need to find something easier. Ah well, On we go.

After Adan and I realized that this dragon was huge, and needed a bigger group, we hastily went and rounded up some fellow Shadow members, and started in. Everything was going fine....until we tried to actually take something (he SAID we could)...

Well he started over to us...and I have to be honest with you reader...I do NOT like it when dragons grin at me:

Just creepy in that, makes-me-want-to-flee-in-terror-screaming-for-my-life, kind of way.

But, no. I mustn't flee from danger, that's what the swords are for!! I decided to draw one of them, polish it up a bit...maybe intimidate the dragon a bit...dragons are afraid of swords...right?

Turns out Draigoch can play that game too...he proceeded to show us his...equipment...well...his weapons anyway.
"Check out the Teeth," he said to us. *glup*

"And the claws" ...man those are big...

"And my wings aren't just for show" he said, spreading them menacingly. "I can fly!"

It was then I realized that this dragon was not happy...and was planning dreadful things for us.

Probably sick of all the people trying to take his treasure....I tried to tell him that this was just a huge misunderstanding....it didn't work...

"Did I mention I breathe fire?" He asked, as he did so.

Well....####....he is better at this intimidation thing....like, way better.

After his display, Draigoch made it rain on us.

Maybe as an act of pity...so we could feel we got something before he chomped us to death. I don't know. What I did know, was that chomping was going to be soon.

But as luck would have it, when chomping time came, a stroke of luck:

Dumb dragon knocked me out of the way of his chomping....I thought I would be safe there for a while, out of sight out of mind.

...well....he didn't SEE me, now did he?

But eventually, I did have to step out of hiding and face this monster. Mostly cause everyone else had already died, and it was either that, or build a duplex on that rock edge...and I hate building...I'm not dual wielding hammers here people!!

Damnit! Maybe I should have picked up the hammers....

Ah well, too late now. Time for attempt number 2

Number 2 started off much better, with much less death, but lots of learning. For example:

    We learned that "fire bad".

And after several Fellowship Maneuvers, I was reminded of a line from a movie:

"A downed dragon, is a dead dragon."

    Soon...soon...

It took us a while, but we did wear him down, and it was time to finally bring him down

And since this run was a melee attempt that worked some of the time (this is how we learned fire bad). So one of our hunters (the lovely Adan), taught us melee-centric peoples how to use those bows we have. She taught us that we didn't always have to wait to see our target, that we could anticipate where it would be, and fire a bit early. Sounds suspiciously like pointy-eared nonsense to me, but what the hell, we gave it a shot.

Well...ok...so that worked...still think its pointy-eared-nonsense...if I can't see it, shouldn't be able to hit it..and everyone knows that swinging a sword where there isn't anything for it to connect with is a waste of a sword swing....sheesh...

Well, seeing as how that did work, I started to get a little cocky and figured I could handle things on my own:
"Don't worry people, I got this!"

"Now...how do you fire a sword through a bow?"

Our hunters were kind enough to fire from a distance, so as to not make me feel bad....or maybe there were just showing off...

After a greuling battle, Draigoch took off for his last flight.

And yes, we knew it was his last, because he said something about taking us with him...or something like that..stupid dragon...if he'd just kept his mouth shut, we would have stayed out there waiting for him to land as he pulled the cave down on us. As it was, we ran into the safety of a different part of the cave, leaving Draigoch to die in a blaze of glory...or a rock-fall of stupidity.

I think that second one is more fitting.

But finally, I was able to stand face-to-face with my foe

And all I could think was..."His skull would make on heck of a housing decoration!"

So, while the kin gathered around our slain enemy

(hey..who can say that he wasn't going to die anyway from the wounds we inflicted...so that's our story, and we're sticking to it!), I mentioned to the group, "Hey, wouldn't his skull make a great decoration for the kin house? What do you guys think?"

We were all agreed, and decided who would have the grisly task of severing the head and skinning it. We decided in the age old tradition....

    Dang it...I said "Not it!"

But apperently dragon skin is a lot tougher than..well...the skin of everything else, so I was unable to claim the skull...

    Oh...and maybe those rocks had more to do with it that I thought.....nah, screw it;
    We slew a mighty dragon!

That concludes this Draigoch Special. Thanks for coming, see you soon.
    Happy hunting!

    Update on Ecsploits

Greetings again to all fellow adventrers! For those of you that were following the Ecsploits of Ec, apologies for the long break. Many things were keeping me busy, and I just didn't have time to update you all on the randomly silly things I do. But never fear, the Ecsploits are soon to return in (hopefully) full force. In the mean-time, I have a small experience to share with you.
I was recently riding out of the Limelight Gorge, when I saw a Lore-Master wave their stick threatenlingly at a rather MASSIVE spider. Not wanting to become part of what I thought was sure to become a mid-afternoon snack for that spider, I rode even faster away. But the frightful chittering that reached my ears (and no painful screaming) drew me back to the scene of the battle. For it was indeed a battle. This Lore-Master was expertly wrecking this spider's whole week, much to my surprise, and the surprise of the others who stopped to watch this epic battle. I wish I had taken a picture, but I was too dumbfounded to move (not to mention a bit frightened when a second spider trundled upon us, only to run away in abject fear of this terrifying Lore-Master)!
To wrap this up, the Lore-Master, whose name by the way is Nailliel, soundly defeated the spider, barely every dropping below half morale. So a hearty /cheer and /swordsalute to Nailliel for doing, what I think, something that is pretty dang awesome!
