    Talisman of the Raven Recipe

Did something change with this recipe? My Loremaster jeweller had the recipe in his Apprentice list, but it is now gone. I found a Talisman of the Blood-Raven in the auction house, bought it and read it, and it shows up as a Journeyman recipe. Also, it no longer has all three options (Blood-raven, Mottled Raven, and Frost Raven). I can't find any information on this so far.

Re: Talisman of the Raven Recipe

I always saw different raven recipes: there is one for the frost raven, there is another one for the blood one and so on.

Also, they are one use only. The moment you make the item, the recipe deletes from the list.

Re: Talisman of the Raven Recipe

I've seen some talisman recipes without the choice, but only in the auction house. Any drops I've gotten have been the one of three variety. My raven recipe drops have always required jouneyman proficiency. I think the next proficiency tier up for each successive pet.

Re: Talisman of the Raven Recipe

The Talisman recipes have always been one-shots. They used to be single output (i.e., non-selectable) so you needed the correct recipe. These were changed to multi-output recipes so now you can choose which you want to make. The old recipes are still around, but will no longer drop. The multi-output recipes will state that the output is selected by the crafter.

You can also now get Talisman recipes for different crafting tiers that produce the same item. They use tier appropriate materials, and which a Lore-master uses makes no difference.

Okay, so I must have just found an old single output recipe? I was thinking maybe they had stopped doing the multi-output and reverted back. I remember when they changed the metalworking armor recipes to be multi-output, the ones that I had already collected were either erased or changed. I'm still wondering why I no longer have the multi-output recipe on my list. I'm certain I had one memorized that I hadn't used.

Talisman of the Bear is a journeyman level recipe.

    Cool

Does anyone know where I can find (or buy) a talisman of the storm raven? Found out about this pet online, and all of the information that I have read (on LOTRO-Wiki and casualstrolltomordor) says that you must buy it in the LOTRO Store. I have tried to find it in the store and in the Auction House, but have been unable to locate it!!

It's a drop from scroll cases, I think Apprentice level even, so kill massive amounts of really low-level humanoids unless you can find it on the AH.

The talismans for all the cosmetic pets and the variations of the other pets are in the Store (I've bought a couple cosmetic pets for my LM in the past).

But they are Class Specific Items, so you can only buy them when you're on a Lore-master.

Thanks! I finally found it in the store, and now my loremaster is very happy to have a new companion (especially such a cool looking one!)
