    Simple, smaller UI

I play on a laptop. A lot of people do. My problem is the current trend towards bigger, longer, more, fancier. My screen is not huge. I want less. I want smaller pictures on the vitals, smaller bags, smaller everything. Is there anyone out there that can do a skin for those of us that do not have massive screens, and just want simple, easy to use, and still not fill our viewing areas with patterns, designs, glows, and just... STUFF?

Only thing I can tell you some of us are waiting for the new skin pack when ROI is released after Sept to update the Ui and tweak it better.

you could try this UI,I haven't test it but its updated:

    P.S
You haven't specify what resolution your playing at.

Indeed, i play on a lap as well and i can understand

Just no note that the everything before ftp was smaller, the UI, the Character selection, Character panel, Crafting Panel ect, all these were much smaller and more simply

    Char creation screen before ftp

The char creation screen after ftp (fail)

    Char panel before ftp

It was much smaller, trust me (cant get any youtube vid now to show)

    Char panel after ftp (fail)

I can't help but agree and I play on a rather large desktop. I'd be perfectly happly with a character panel 1/4 of the size it is now. I find it particularly vexing that the character stats are probably presented in the LEAST efficient fashion for my character. It was way better when all of that was below the character model as tabs rather than as a gigantic list that I need to scroll through. At least give us an option to choose the order that stuff gets displayed in.

I'd also like to lobby for putting destiny/shards/money in someplace other than where they are now. I really would like to know how much money I have without having to open a "wallet" that takes up 1/2 of my screen. What was wrong with the old, unobtrusive "destiny" widget they used to have?

Whats was wrong with the other char panel was in my opinion it wasn't big enough to fit the Lotro store buttons.

As I said only my opinion as to why.

After we get the skin pack,I think someone will revamp that section provided that the new
skin directory info is included to make things moved to different spots.

You can give mine a shot: Black Fade WIP

Sounds like exactly what you want. The "always on screen" stuff (character and target frames, class meters, mainbar, etc.) in particular have been stripped and reworked to be as compact as possible. Additionally, a lot of the stuff has been altered so it "takes up" the same amount of space as the graphic. For example, if you try to move the default player frame to the bottom of the screen, there's a giant, invisible "box" that prevents you from getting it anywhere near there, and from clicking on quickbars underneath. That's gone in my UI.

It is a WIP, but I won't be doing anything else with it until we get the art assets we've been promised with RoI.

    This is mine
It is the only UI I found that has somewhat movable fervour/focus meter, for me very valuable (a hardly visible bar just below my buffbars, you dont even notice it out of combat).

What I really like is BevyOBars2, they can be resized and hidden with just one click on very small hider bar.
