    Surviving a 11,960 Common damage

I have no intention to start the discussion about good or bad about new Never Surrender. Just show what happened when I was passing the gate of Isengard, attacked by two trolls. And try not to speculating how hard the boss will hit after ROI.

    The combat log.

Ufdrágh scored a critical hit with Critical Onslaught on Calttrowyn for 11,960 Common damage to Morale.
Conviction applied a heal to Calttrowyn restoring 213 points to Morale.
Never Surrender applied a heal to Calttrowyn restoring 9,449 points to Morale.
Never Surrender applied a heal to Calttrowyn restoring 1,286 points to Power.

    and a screenshot.

Lol epic! Your screenshot isn't working btw, you seem to have submitted it as an attachment rather than in the [IMG][/IMG] format.

Fun to watch, thanks for sharing

On a sidenote, Never surrender seems to be affected by inc. Healing - should just have been healed around 8200ish otherwise

    PS:
Are you using some sort of plugin for your combat log ? (if yes, which one ? looks interesting) Or is this the way the log looks like when RoI hits ?

I really like the new colors in the combat log. They really make it easier to find a specific type of event.

New combat log is awesome. I was so excited when they introduced it for the Beta. Between power proc from gauntlets, self heals, dots and masteries I could could never find what I was looking for. This makes it much easier.
    Cmalberg - Elendilmir
-Stickygritz, Gritzwarr, and all those Gritz. Greblam

Rock is OP, nerf rock. Paper is balanced.

I mean everything I ever say, ever.

Thats quite a nice self heal right ?

1 question how do you get to turn that text heals to turn green in your combat log ?

Good catch I hadn't noticed that. I may jump the fence into the "love it regardless of mastery penalty!" camp if that's the case... Since incoming healing (AFAIK) also affects power heals... This could easily turn the 75%/50% heal into a 95%/70% heal. It activates at the next hit to take us below 5%, so we're above 5% still when it activates... meaning there's a good chance that with incoming healing boosted up a bit we could turn this into a full heal!

    Very cool!

EDIT: Looked back at the picture, and power is still 50%. When I thought incoming healing affected power return I was probably thinking of healing legacies, like Rally Cry and Mischievous Glee which also boost the power returned by those two skills.

    Still awesome!

Yeah the combat log enhancements were the first thing that caught my eye...nice.

So I'll ask the noob question....how do you take a 11,960 hit to morale along with the hits before that when you only have 10,913 Morale?

Edit: I guess after asking I should say I've only been 65 like 10 days and I've never used Never Surrender...I'm assuming you must have cast it beforehand and it prevented death.

It doesn't prevent death NOW. It will come ROI.
