    Still RP on Crickhollow?

I've been away for a while. Is it worth coming here for RP, still, or has everyone fled to Landroval?

I couldn't say - I know there are some RP'ers still around, cause I ran into some just last night.

The community is small but active. Most tend to be focused on personal character driven RP. There are still events held regularly, especially concerts held by symphonious. Dess held a wonderful party for the server's birthday this past week.

Although it has been years since I played on Landroval (after my hiatius from the game for several years and thus cannot speak for that other servers), I believe that there is a healthy and prominent role-playing community on Crickhollow. However, I must admit that it does seem that much of the rping occurs either in Bree of the Shire for the most part. Once you get out of these regions, it does seem that the rping does tend to dry up at time.

That being said, I have had the pleasure of meeting and interacting with some very wonderful role-players here on Crickhollow since my return to the game. I have especially have the fortune to meet and roleplay with some great players in regards to my story that may be found here on the Crickhollow sub-forum

Total Immersion - The Quest for Moria

Many of the players I have interacted with have multiple alts that are played with some frequency, so look any of them up if you happen to spy them in the game.

    Re: Still RP on Crickhollow?

As a member of the Crickhollow population, I would like to say that there is still a very strong RP presence on the server, and it's not just limited to Bree. For example, once a week at the Forsaken Inn in the Lone Lands there is an event called "Tales of the Forsaken", an RP storytelling event. (I believe it occurs every Wednesday evening, but I'm not entirely sure.) The majority of RP in Crickhollow occurs in chance meetings of fellow RPers in the vastness of Middle Earth, but many RP events also take place, often (but not always) organized by one of the prominent RP kinships.

Later this fall, I will be putting together a weekly or biweekly evening of song, dance, wine, and RP in the Hall of Fire at Rivendell. (Any in-game bands who would like to provide music, please post here:

There was a rather sizable petition this summer to make Crickhollow a "RPE" (Role Play Encouraged) server, but Turbine said no.

RP in Crickhollow is in large made successful by the wonderful RP kinships on the server.

    Many thanks to:

    Riders of Ravencrest

    Daro A Maetho (Elves Only)

    Second Breakfast (semi-RP)

    Symphonius

If I missed your RP/semi-RP kin, please give a /shout on this thread.

((Good to have you back, Hundvir ^^))

I agree with what most people said here. I personally stay away from the big events most of the time because my character goes shy on me, but I love the roleplaying community here, it still seems active to me. I always want to go to Forsaken Tales but someone or other tends to comment on the oddness of a toon like mine being present :P

Love the character-driven Rp, working on seeing some more Kin-stories. Let's get RPers down through that Gap when RoI comes out!!!

Hi Lossy! I'm touched. You missed me! I'll be back in-game on the twenty-first.

PS: Attend on Nimpriel. She's a lot more sociable and a lot less...racist.
