This Monday's "group night" will be hijacked for Xmas hi-jinx and party games.
Apologies to anyone else on the server at the time.
Musical Bumps, Simon Says and other party games tonight in The Prancing Pony.
Apologies to anyone hoping for a quiet night by the fire in The Pony.
A quick reminder that tonight is our weekly group night and it should prove an interesting session.
Say no more. See you there.
A tall human disguised as a dwarf approaches the rostrum
He coughs to clear his throat
"Avast ye land lubbers do thee ..."
A voice behind the rostrum whispers " You're not a pirate"
The human turns and nods his apologies
"We are the Knights that say Ni and we wish to recruit .."
"no no no no " says the off stage voice, "you're a dwarf"
The human waves his hand in acknowledgment
"Heigh Hoooooooooooooooooo, Heigh Hooooooooooooooooo!
"noooooooooooooo not that type of dwarf !! "
man handling the human off stage, a hobbit addresses the audience
"Sanctuary caters for all shapes and sizes"
I joined my character Alfweald to this kin today, nice bunch of players! Looking forward to gaming with them. Give it a try!
New Sanctuary member.
An elf stands before the crowd bestowing the virtues of Sanctuary
"We are a casual friendly group of adventurers ..."
A dwarf barges the elf out of the way"
"Pesky elf, all the kins say that, they want to know that we have lots of ale"
"and cake " a hobbits chips in
Brushing himself down, the elf continues
"We encourage all races and classes"
"providing you are under 4 foot" the dwarf murmurs
The elf gives the dwarf a stern look
"we encourage all races and classes no matter what size"
"even fat hobbits" the dwarf grumbles
The hobbit attempts to reply but finds it diffcult with a mouthful of cake
Finally a human steps up pushing the quarreling threesome behind him
"Sanctuary, promoting harmony throughout Middle Earth"
Lol Morbi. Love the posts.
Welcome Vunar (Alfweald), good to have you with us.
Last of all Happy Anniversary / Birthday to LOTRO.
Got to love that crazy old dwarf
When are we getting another post Morbi I have been waiting ever so patiently!
The bedraggled adventurer stumbled wearily along the broken cobble path, travelling for days without food or sleep, shivering from their clothes being soaked through due to the rain, in pain from the half healed wounds, when they saw a light in the distance. Staggering onwards, using the last strength remaining in their tired body, they collapse into the arms of of a stranger. Feeling themselves carried inside, fed hot food, provided with fresh clothing and bedding, the adventurer hears a voice welcome them to Sanctuary.
A warm welcome to our newest member Morftafftic
Over half a dozen new recruits in the past week or two. Welcome to you all and thank you for choosing Sanctuary. I am looking forward to leading you all astray at some point soon in one instance or another.
Hi, I'm interested in joining Sanctuary - I'm wondering if you are still recruiting and if I can chat to someone in game if so.

Anyhow, if you are wanting to get a hold of someone in game then use your social panel (hit the O key) and on the Fellowing tab enter Sanctuary in the filter and then hit Enter. You should then get a list of who is online from our kinship. Contact any kin member via a tell and they should be able to put you in touch with an officer if one is online.
Alternatively head to http://www.guild-sanctuary.com/lotro and register on our forums. There is one forum area dedicated to Laurelin Recruitment where you can post an application or see more info on how to join, etc.
We look forward to meeting you soon.

We are still recruiting, with the launch of Rohan just around the corner there seems to be a lot going on.
Monday nights are still our Kin night so if you fancy joining us or just saying hello this would be a good time. Fridays are becoming a high end content night so if you want to join us for some very funny deaths or good loot maybe both then would be a good time.
Right now one of our NAO kinswomen is running Sunday lowbie events, they are about level 20 start at 1pm on a Sunday and are going to be trying the GB soon.
For all this sillyness and much worse check out the web site www.guild-sanctuary.com/lotro .

A warm welcome to our newest member Bradbic. Good to have you with us. Hopefully you weren't too overwhelmed by everyone last night. It was nice to have a bit of a natter. Make yourself at home matey.
I joined a couple of days ago, and they are a very friendly and welcoming bunch, even if there was some talk about a pies tax
I am learning a new class and plenty of peeps online and on the forums were more than happy to give me advice.
Thanks Kneedatank for the lovely feedback.
We've had half a dozen great new recruits this month and all seem to be getting on just great.
Let's hope we get as many new recruits in November as well.
Well, I joined Sanctuary a few days ago...want to know what happened?
Before Sanctuary, I was an adorable, if incredibly shy, hobbit lass, running around Laurelin, barely able to hold her lute.
Since joining Sanctuary...well...*thinks*... I'm still an adorable hobbit lass, but one who's giggling more, stealing dwarven ale and withholding it from those who don't appreciate fine hobbit ale, and I'm slowly working on a plot to trap Morbi in a gathering of hobbit minstrels and playing at him til either he begins to like hobbit music, or his ears bleed. (I'm not picky here...) Oh...and I have a new dress *squeals with delight*.
In other words...it's a fantastic, fun loving group of people and I'm having a blast.
Glad to hear you're getting on so well with us in Sanctuary.
*whispers* Please help us!
It's great having you with us Batel.
*whispers* She doesn't have an off switch!
Just kidding. :P
*whispers* No really!
I made an application over at your forums, I'll be keeping my fingers crossed.
I can attest to the fact that Sanctuary is a wonderful Kinship to belong to. Such a variety of players, all levels and personalities all in harmony with one another (except for Morbi who is excused, poor soul doesn't know how nice Elves are :P)
We currently have a twice weekly gathering that does content at all levels, but especially for the lower levels who have not made it to the dizzying heights yet, called Have Alt Will Travel (HAWT). This is primarily focused on doing content that has a tendency to be skipped due to lack of grouping opportunities. You will find them here! We do everything and anything we can think of from GB runs to GS at the moment, and will soon encompass the higher level content. Most of all we have a lot of fun.
Sanctuary also has two dedicated Raid nights, currently in repose because of RoR, but will soon become active again.
We are a light RP, family friendly kinship...find your Sanctuary here at www.guild-sanctuary.com
Our Have Alt Will Travel (HAWT) sessions are still going strong and running twice a week (Weds evening and Sunday afternoon) for those that want to have a crack at the lower level group content.
Plus there's now the newly released skraids and the old ones that are newly scaled. On the downside I can forsee having to give up creeping for a while now that the new raids have arrived. Looking forward to exploring them in our weekly Monday night raid sessions.
