Maybe Samwise, though to be either a Tark or an elf-lord by some of the orcs of Cirith Ungol?

Bingo! Sam actually shouted during his chase of an orc in the tower that he was the Elf-warrior and would skin them if he caught them or something to that effect.

    You're up Wilros!

Excellent! Because I know bambu3 appreciates some alliteration (plus I can't think of anything better ATM) the next one is:
    Poison Puff

    Poison puff:

    Hmmm...

Ungoliant and Melkor attacked the Two Trees of Valinor under the cloud (puff) of Unlight that Ungoliant wove. She poisoned the Trees and sucked out their essence.

Some good answers, but none being what I am looking for. I thought this was an easy one, but maybe not. A bit of a hint then: I will say Al is closest to the mark so far.

Guess that means it's not Taniquetil?

    Interesting take, but wrong direction.

  25. #2225
Given your response to the last guess I'll assume that summit is literal, i.e. a hill, mountain or other high place, as opposed to a meeting.
    So, how about Cloudyhead/Fanuidhol/Bundushathûr?
This mountain was so tall that the dwarven name means "head in the clouds".
