Exactly. I will wait another day or 2, then can provide a hint if no one has found it.

There is one fitting example I can think of so far. Dorlas, who deserted Turin and was killed by Brandir.

Exactamundo! The riddle stick is yours Egor.

Good one, a non-apparent but powerful classical example.

Let's try for some more deep lore:

The obvious guess to get things rolling is Eowyn looking to the west from Minas Anor.

Nice image, but not that. Go deeper.

My guess would be Isil, the name of the moon in Quenya, the flower of Telperion.

Interesting take, but wrong direction. There's really a princess there.

Arwen's title actually slipped my mind, but it's indeed one of the 2 fitting answers, so the stick is yours.

What was the other answer you had in mind out of interest?

    Next one: firmament support

I'll save it for now and try to rephrase it later.

And while we are at it: Meneltarma?

Well, let's try for another angle:

The Elfstone or in Quenya, Elessar, that Arwen gave to Aragorn. This stone has a long history.

It sure does, but you're missing the "sunset" reference here. So not the one.

    Interesting.
Above, Arwen Evenstar was a correct answer for "sunset princess".
My thinking (to explain my answer, not to argue) was that "sunset relic" could be a relic connected to this sunset princess. And therein was the "sunset" reference.

Ah, got your point. Indeed, the two clues are connected, but note that Stride's answer wasn't what I originally meant, as I noted above. Hence Arwen is unrelated to the current relic.

Dunno if it's old enough to be a relic, but maybe the keyhole revealed by the last light of Durin's Day, which opened the secret door to the passage into the Lonely Mountain?
Today is a good day for Pie.

Do not meddle in the affairs of Burglars, for they are subtle and quick to shank you.

No, think older and a lot more significant. It's really quite a relic by the time of the war of the Ring.

I'm thinking the sceptre of Annuminas, which was the rod of the Lords of Andunie.

edit: and I guess I should add, I guess that because the name itself is a variant of the Quenya for sunset.

We have a winner! True story, etymologically and geographically.
    Stick is yours.
