Relatively new, just coming back to the game...

Let's start by telling you a little bit about myself. I'm currently 22 years old, happily married for a little over 3 years now, and will be a new mother in about 7 months.

I usually play during the daytime, not so much during the evening or at night, and I'm on pretty much every day. I'm just getting back into the game, and to be honest the highest char I've ever had was about lvl-13 so I'm still a nublette as far as LotRO is concerned. I played EQ 1 for a few years, followed by a brief stint with EQ2, and then moved on to WoW for the last... many years, so I know my way around MMOs fairly well.

I'm currently trying out the Guardian class, but I'm willing to level something else (Minstrels, Rune-Keepers, and Champions are fun so far) depending on what the kin needs. I try to be helpful in whatever way I can, and really don't see the point to being greedy in-game. What's good for the kin helps everyone in it, after all.

I will probably be interested in raiding end-game, but obviously that's a while away from now. I'm mostly looking for a fun/helpful kin to show me the ropes and have some good people to chat and level with. ^_^

Congratulations on being a new mom. Our kin might eventually open up to mature casual and non casual players, hopefully you can find something already established and has some type of organization already in place.

I think my kinship, Clan of Dereth may fit all of your needs.

We're a rather large kinship, with lots of new players, and a lot of established vets. We've got a little of everything from the extremely casual to the 4-times a week raiders (we have 3 raid groups, which may expand to 4 or even 5 by the time you're 65).

Lots of fun people as well, and plenty of generous help and advice.

You can contact me using my 3 characters below, or, if I'm unavailable, do "/who Clan of Dereth", and ask someone online if they can refer you to an officer that is online.

Good Luck in your kinship hunting!

    Hi Daestra,
Great introduction! Strayhold is currently recruiting and it may be worth your while to take a look at us. Our forums are quite active and should give you a glimpse of what you're in for with us They can be viewed at kinship.strayhold.com. We are a medium-size kin, with many members having at least 1 or 2 65's. However we ALL suffer from alt-itis so getting a leveling buddy won't be hard. I encourage you to hop over to the forums to see what we have to offer and feel free to contact me or any of the officers in-game with any questions. I'm generally on my main, Joyful, right now. Good luck in your search and pre-gratz on being a mom!
