    Plugin Requests

I'm looking for a couple of plugins:

    * a "Clean Unit Frames" plugin, preferably configurable and DEFINITELY without portraits. It would be handy to be able to turn off the display for specific units as I intend to use Palantir for the Player Unit Frame.
    * Something to remove the default Hotbar 1 (as I intend to use a hotbar plugin like TonicBars).

I'm sure I'll think of a couple others.

We currently don't have any way to disable the default hotbars (quickslots) in code. However, you could use a custom UI Skin to remove the entire default toolbar, including the autoattack button, all system buttons, and the default toolbar.

    Re: Plugin Requests

I would love to see the following plugins

    Aggro Meter (percentage)
    DPS Meter (dealt or received)
    Healing Meter (dealt or received)
    Hunter Port Drop Down
    Latency/Packet Loss Meter
Buff Tool Tip Display (like if there where a timed buff, rather than having to hover cursor over icon to get tool tip description box while trying to fight, just to know how long the buff had left, this would display to tool tip description box with out having to hover.)

    More to come...

    Thanks.

    Gab

Hunter Port Drop Down - I have a plugin for Travel in general that will be available

Added responses. When I say, 'not possible with API', I just mean that Turbine has not allowed us to have access to the information needed to create such a plugin.

I would like to see an inventory add-on with the features of Ark Inventory
    http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-a...inventory.aspx

Ark Inventory gives you one big bag but you can divide the bag into separate bars that can be sorted according to any criteria in the game. With AI you can also search for items and it will tell you if any of your characters has that item in their bags. AI will also tell you if the item you searched for is in your bank or in the guild/kin bank.

In the future something to track prices in the AH would be nice. Nothing as complicated as Auctioneer for WoW but just enough to establish good market prices for buying and selling.

Turbine has created a OneBag addon as a plugin example.

There is currently no API to access AH information, but I've been working on an plugin to track when actions expire (you have to enter all the info as a chat command).

What I'd like to see (if possible) is a kind of mirror to what Buffbars is. Instead of seeing debuffs on myself, I'd like to be able to see debuff timers for my target.

This isn't possible with the current API yet.

    Re: Plugin Requests

Would there be any way to add a mounts plugin?

Preferably with a drag and drop feature for adding each one (like add a map in the travel plugin)? If not that, many options for choosing which ones show up in the plugin ie

Type of mount >>Basic >>Blond Sorrel
    Festival >>Pale Golden
    Harvestmath
    Reputation>>Tundra
    Mirkwood Horse
    Awarded >>Gray Horse (bk 15)
    War Steed (SOA Metadeed)

Then you could check each one that you have...just an idea. But I have no idea how the lua thing works yet.

    Re: Plugin Requests

I'm pretty sure there is a mounts plugin already (there was in beta at least). Also any of the generic 'extra quick slot bar' plugins should do the job as well, you can drag things onto them just like a normal quick slot bar.

As to the request for a DPS/Healing meter - if you include the use of a couple of external applications it exists. Unfortunately due to an issue with the design of SetBackground, it will gradually use up all available memory and eventually crash the client.

    Re: Plugin Requests

It would be great to see a reworking of the Skills Panel > Fellowship tab to make viewing and selecting Fellowship Maneuvres easier.

Currently the top half contains the four colours and what they do and it has a scroll bar for one line (why?) and the bottom half is a long list in a very small window where you can only just see a length-6 maneuvre without scrolling. The top half really needs to be a few pixels longer, and the bottom half significantly longer, or some rearrangement that simply works better.

Not sure if this is currently possible in terms of Lua or skinning but it would be visually similar to the redesigned crafting panels I've seen on LOTROInterface.com. I'd be so pleased if someone could do this!

Is there a way to create a plugin that would work as if you were holding down the right and left mouse keys to create a mouse look toggle?

    Re: Plugin Requests

Pretty sure there is no way to do that with the current API.

It really sounds more like a UI suggestion rather than a lua plugin request anyway.
