It seems that we've been declared "Fatties" or somesuch (ugh, bad enough I'm that in rl! ) related to Fatty Bolger rather than Crickits. It's all good, I'm still going to roll an alt here... but in my heart she'll be a Crickit

It s my opinion that the populace will rise up in protest over the "decreed" fatty term and restore sanity by cuddling tight to the more intriguing and charming "Crickits".

I hope you are right, mostly because I don't want to have to answer "where you from" questions with "I'm a Fatty"

I'm(my character that is) standing there, trying to defend Fatty and only one lousey crebain has come up. I've spotted one high in the trees behind the house, but I can't shoot at it. It's been 10 long boring minutes. Anyone know how to get past this?

Woah. Slight overreaction here. Not all Crickhollowers have this response! Welcome to the server if you are new. The nickname may need some refinement, I'm afraid, as the information (while not the delivery) in Kargerz's post is correct - there is a kinship called Crickits on the server, so you may run into confusion between people using the nickname, and people in the kinship.

I've never encountered this problem before, but that definitely is not how the quest should go. You should have 2 crebain come down to attack, followed by another two after defeating the first set. If this does not occur, the best course of action may be to simply cancel the quest and pick it back up. Wait to attack until the crebain come a bit closer (not sure if an early attack is what bugged you out, but it's worth eliminating that possible factor).

If you are still having issues, you should open a ticket. Hit the escape key and go to the help menu. At the bottom, click on "new ticket" and provide whatever information you can. A GM should contact you within the next 5-15 minutes. Hope it all gets resolved for you.

As for the subject of the thread as a whole, I'm quite glad we never ended up as Fatties. I still refer to others on the server as my fellow Crickits, though I don't hear the nickname used all that often anymore.

And may I add that I do hope that some of the people in this thread end up dropping by the server again soon (that means you, Crickit and Dazzl).

I think he or she just did a search for Fatty Bolger and this thread popped up. I'm just amazed that anyone was able to get a search to work properly--mine seem to either get no result or I'm unable to click on anything.
