You could switch between the bow and instrument between melee range and when you are kiting out to 8m+, but I found that a hassle & alot of excessive clicking.
In any case it's like a 100-150dmg from a bow shot and 36 (more now? I can't remember if they bumped it up) is reflected to you through blood of fire.
Bow is stupid.
You use challenge to stay in combat. That will keep you building fervour and prevent the reaver from charging (Ie. when you need to kite longer past the 9 seconds OOC limit you challenge when it's been 7 seconds since you hit them.)
*Don't quote me on exact seconds/ranges I do it by feel after this long playing.*
Victi was talking about the fact that you can have a bow equipped and nver fire on the run bow AA's with the hit chance penalty on move box checked, so that anything being fired that will have and on the move +% to miss chance won't be fired unless you're stationary so you can still get the ragned defense by having a bow slotted but I always gays on your back.
It's hard to type walls of text on an iPhone so forgive miss-types hehe
Oh I see...I kinda don't like that idea though...the bow IS useful on the run on two occasions:
1. if you have someone that is trying to run.
2. Trying to LOS/break combat through trees/etc.
I've chased creeps half way across the map with the bow.
Actually last night I kept a warg in combat long enough to get another sprint off & almost had him dead (he called in backup; if I had got the sprint 5 seconds earlier I would have been far enough from the map point to get my inf before the gank The warg even apologised for calling a solo champ out & acknowledged I had him beat.)
Not every warg only comes out with sprint and/or HIPs up. You only need to keep them in combat long enough for your sprint to come off CD. So usually around 30secs-1min. Sure, spiders will flat out get away if they simply beeline it for the hills & your sprint is on CD for too long...but you can play possum with them coz they are ranged.
Yes Nam, gaurds and burgs are very tough, but if they both don't crit often it is an all too easy win with dev; at least it's an interesting fight without it. As I said, not everytime; fight by fight basis. I got destroyed last night by a guard I didn't take seriously and didn't even have a chance to dev haha.
lol bad wargs.
"You cannot see what I see because you see what you see. You cannot know what I know because you know what you know. What I see and what I know cannot be added to what you see and what you know because they are not the same kind. Neither can it replace what you see and what you know, because that would be to replace you yourself."
110% in-combat run speed, they just walk away. Period. If they don't trait it then they're either too low rank (Not a threat) or typically the type that needs his friends help anyways.
No doofus, wargs.
Nimrodel - Vinyara, Officer
Shows how long since I played my warg haha.
in that case you make a QQ thread on the forums about wargs...coz there's clearly not enough of those. But as I said, I was able to catch the warg I was following with sprint. Or you could laugh it off given that a rank 5+ warg is running from a champ and find another fight.
I made a joke warg called challengmode and got Dafros hunter down to 400hp having my last 2 mauls miss, I only spent 2k DP on savage fangs, fully green ring, they are hard lmao.
I don't think you'd find very many people that would disagree with you.
But as a champ I'd still rather fight a warg than a reaver (given that I don't like doing the thing you need to do as a champ to beat the latter.)
So why cant champs apply slows to wargs? im confused
As for the BPEing a bunch of hamstrings, I've had the same thing happen. I trait for my horn not being BPE'd sometimes and I've still seen it be evaded by wargs.
