    Cappy Bogbereth Duo

A friend Captain and Myself Duoed Bogbereth some time ago, I sat still and DPSed while he healed on the move with add aggro.

I am curious if any other Cappies have attempted similar with other Captains or Classes.

Yep Bogbereth is definitely soloable by a captain...in fact captains make one of the best solo classes to take on these tough mobs...

ive soloed it as well as well as other captains

pretty much anyone that cons gray is easy to solo as long as they dont have some overwhelming adds or some nasty inductions or what not

soloed valtair in annuminus about a week after soloing bogbereth

altho the battles are long it feels very rewarding after killing something designed to be taken out by a group of ppl

if you really want a challenge with soloing i would suggest taking a stab at SH EM...sure it takes a bit over an hour but it is definitely possible with a captain

Yea, Bogbereth isn't that hard if you can pull her away from the babies, especially if you can pull it where 1 baby will come and attack you at a time (not sure how I did this but it happened, was really nice for the defeat responses). I guess I'll try Valtair and Helch next, maybe even cold bear, did SH easymode up to the troll, where it went bad.

Muster courage heal is win when soloing bosses. Max out rallying cry legacy for a 15 second cooldown. Every time your DB/PA crits, you'll have rallying cry up. Improved defensive strike with blade of elendil can keep your power up as well (chance for +120 power with defensive strike if the light of elendil dot is on your target) if you aren't spamming other skills as much.

How does Valtair and Bogbereth rate compared to Fergandir in Haudh Iarchith (Level 44 Nemesis) and Brullug in Sarnur (Level 50 Nemesis)?

I was able to take out Fergandir at 60 and Brullug at 65, both solo on my captain. I consider Brullug to be the most difficult fight I've attempted so far (though to be fair I was using a gimped LI with no settings in it, because it was the only one I had AD damage on at the time). I've always wanted to clear the Annuminas deed with Valtair, however.

Well as long as they dont have any adds or any annoying skills the fights are pretty easy...

altho i always hated fighting drakes so that might be a bit tougher

ive soloed plenty of mobs as a captain such as bog, valtair and the other ppl in annuminus for the deed, coldbear which is a pretty easy fight, sword halls easy mode altho that definitely wasnt easy, and most bosses in CD and URU...

my next target is trying to solo the warden in dungeons of dol guldur instance...i definitely think its possible, i can bring the warden down to 40k health with ease but the problem then is the annoying fear he casts every so often, so ill just have to practice my timing and make sure to use the pillars to get away from his los
