Are some LT's more plentiful in certain skirmishes?

I'm down to my last 2 LT's on my Hunter for solo skirmishes for the advanced slayer deeds, Dourhand Keg-master and Forest-born Reaver. Can anyone state with any certainty where these two are spawned the most?

It would appear there is a pool of potential LTs for any skirmish and what you get is totally random... I have had some where I got a particular one over and over and over and other times each one was different.

I seem to frequently encounter the dourhand keg-master in Tuckborough, fwiw

I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend.

No. JWBarry has answered this before. Each skirmish has a subset of the available LTs for each group size, but the appearance of members of that subset in each run is completely random. The subsets are lore-based, i.e. no trolls or dead in Tuckborough, etc.

gildhur is spot on about LTs only showing up in appropriate Skirmishes...which means if you need Forest-Born Reavers, try the Tal Bruinen Skirmish, as you won't find them in Danneglor. If you need the Dourhand Keg-Master try the Gondamon Skirmish as you won't find them in Tuckborough.

I am almost 100% positive you can get the dourhand stormkeeper and the other one in Tuckborough.

You can get the dourhands in Tuckborough. And in Bruinen, Gondamon, Amon Sul, Bree. But not in the Mirkwood Skirms.

I have gotten both Keg Masters and Forest Born Reaver's in Siege of Gondoman, only once though. The Day Walkers are the most common, and annoying, occurrence in the Skirmishes I currently have available :/.

Both your statement and the one you quoted are partially incorrect: I have gotten both a Dourhand and a Forest-born Reaver in Dannenglor, the first Mirkwood skirmish.

That's because Dannenglor is an open landscape area in greater Mirkwood not directly under the sway of Dol Guldur. Therefore it's more acceptable for Dourhands and random wildlife enemies to be there. However, there is no evidence of Dourhand collusion in Dol Guldur, so Thangulhad, Necro's Gate, Wraith's Lair, and Tower do not have any Dourhands.

I should probably have said Dol Guldur Skirms. Dannenglor always seems to escape my mind. Rarely run it.

Re: Are some LT's more plentiful in certain skirmishes?

I will have to check this out now. The one I still need is the Dourhand slayer for the solo anyways. I finished the encounters for T&M, Tuck and PP early and have not played them since. That might explain why I have not finished the dourhand slayer.

Thanks for the info as this means running some of the skrimishes just for the slayer deed. now.

PS. I do not think I have even seen a dourhand in a Mirkwood instance. But I shall watch just to make sure in the future.

Killed two Keg-Masters in the Tuckborough, so yeah, location matters. I guess Protectors of Thangulad isn't considered Dol Guldur either because I do remember Forest-born Reavers there also.

If I may offer you a tip, run it. Seven minutes for ~280 skirmish marks is not a bad deal.

SM-wise it's even worth WITHOUT the daily quest.

Re: Are some LT's more plentiful in certain skirmishes?

Well right after my last post in this thread i did a few Mirkwood skrimishes. Well to my surprise in three daily Protector quests I had 5 dourhand LTs show up! )

I had one in the breaching quest. (2 runs)

but none in Assulting or battle of the keep (2 runs each)

I know very limited dsample size but interesting since I claimed I never saw any in the protectors before.

I know, but I don't care much about SM. I run them for fun more than for anything. Which is why I've barely run them at all lately(solo sucks).
