Tolkien Reading Days in The Lord of the Rings Online

[This drawing was created by the lady Alassea Earello -a professional Tolkien-illustrator of great skill- especially and solely for this event: to summarize artistically its ethos and to serve as its representative picture]

The Tolkien Reading Day (or TRD in brief) event in LotRO is a dedicated day to the works of J.R.R. Tolkien and Middle-earth original creations of others. It occurs every Thursday on the Laurelin server in the Arda Channel, which is then filled with the tales of Middle-earth that are still kept in the hearts of many. And though no tidings of this event have been widely heard before, TRD is already old as some may account it, for it has been going on every week for more than three years so far. But there is a dedicated page (as well as a video) for this event where one can read more about it. If you wish to join, or to merely learn more, spare a moment of your time to read it - it is not long.

Formal webpage and video of the Tolkien Reading Days in LotRO.

This was decided to be shared at last here on the forums, as a very many when they learn of this event are greatly heartened that such a tradition exists in the game and their hearts and enthusiasm are rekindled; and then many come and stay, forgetting war in Middle-earth for a while.

So come fellow lovers of the books, both learned and beginners! Come and I/we shall welcome you with gladness as long sundered kinsfolk who different servers have for long kept away.
