Albeit I may not necessarily agree with everything below (some things are class dependent) the below is useful info I found online which acts as a bit of a guideline:
** There is no min requirement to join OME (we help each other develop), but for those wishing to participate in end game raids. players are expected to be T2c Ready**

T2C MINIMUM STAT GOALS BY ROLE (as of U18.2)

    TANK

    Morale - 50,000 unbuffed
    Mastery (Physical) - Class dependent
    Crit Rating - Class dependent
Resistance - as much as possible using virtues & food bonuses (ideally 30%)
    Crit D - minimum 50%
    IC Healing - 15%
    Finesse - 20%
Block - up to 13% + full bonus available (class/build dependent)
Parry - up to 13% + full bonus available (class/build dependent)
Evade - up to 13% + full bonus available (class/build dependent)
Partial Block - up to 30% (class/build dependent)
Partial Parry - up to 30% (class/build dependent)
Partial Evade - up to 30% (class/build dependent)
    Mitigations: See T2 table below

    Virtues - 17 minimum (ideally 19)
Legendary Item Tiers - 44 (unless it is one that maxes the benefit earlier [i.e. cooldowns]

    DPS

    Morale - Ranged 25,000 unbuffed / Melee 30,000 unbuffed
    Mastery (Physical/Tactical) - 70,000
Crit Rating - 25% + full bonus available
Resistance - as much as possible with virtues and food bonuses (ideally 30%)
    Crit D - Class/Build Dependent
    IC Healing - 0%
    Finesse - 20% approx.
B/P/E - Class dependent. Some classes will naturally have one of these higher than the others. Essence slotting not required.
Partial B/P/E - Class dependent. Some classes will naturally have one of these higher than the others. Essence slotting not required.
    Mitigations: See T2 table below

    Virtues - 17 minimum (ideally 19)
Legendary Item Tiers - 44 (unless it is one that maxes the benefit earlier [i.e. cooldowns]

    HEALER

    Morale - 40,000 unbuffed
    Mastery (Tactical) - 40,000 approx.
Critical Rating - 25% + full bonus available.
Resistance - as much as possible with virtues and food bonuses (ideally 30%)
    Crit D - class/build dependent
    IC Healing - 0%
    Finesse - 0%
B/P/E - Class dependent. Some classes will naturally have one of these higher than the others. Essence slotting not required.
Partial B/P/E - Class dependent. Some classes will naturally have one of these higher than the others. Essence slotting not required.
    Mitigations: See T2 table below

    Virtues - 17 minimum (ideally 19)
Legendary Item Tiers - 44 (unless it is one that maxes the benefit earlier [i.e. cooldowns]

    STAT CAPS

The current Stat Caps are (as of U18.2):

    MITIGATIONS

Light: 20,213 rating at lvl. 105
Med.: 22,408 rating at lvl. 105
Heavy: 24,579 rating at lvl. 105

This means that it is necessary to ensure your mitigations are at the T2 ratings (ignore your percentage).
Some battles only have the need for one mitigation type, some require both. For this reason it is good to have some swap out pieces of gear.

OME is a mixture of social and more end game raiders, all of whom are fairly humble and down to earth helping each other to develop.

When it comes to end game raids, players (all of whom who lead busy lives) are investing their time and effort into runs that potentially could take a few hours.
It is therefore not unreasonable to request that all players wishing to attend a raid know their class well and be geared in a manner which gives the raid the maximum chance of successful completion.
This is not something specific to OME but common ground for many kins who participate in end game raids as well as MMORPGs in general.

Boy Wolf, You really want to get offended at something if that's your summarization of the original post.

Have modified T2c Minimum Requirements based on player feedback.

Order of Middle Earth are a mixture of casual and hardcore players operating in a very social, ego/drama free environment.
Should you be interested in joining please do not hesitate to contact us in game.

Update - I am pleased to report that we are doing well and growing in number with a solid mixture of social and end game raiders.
Recruitment is still open, so if you are end game raider or interested in developing into one now is a good time to get in touch!

    Regards,

    Knight

Just a quick update on our weekly raid times for Throne of The Dread Terror:

    • Fridays @ 7pm Eastern Time (Server Time) .... Throne (T2c)
    • Saturdays @ 4pm Eastern Time (Server Time) .... Throne (T2c)
    • Sundays @ 4pm Eastern Time (Server Time) .... Throne (T1)

These are our scheduled 12 person Throne raids.
We also run plenty of 3, 6, 12 person content ad hoc during the week.

It's also based on ingame behavior. "Knight" is a major "you are not good enough to join" elitist.

Having expanded our ranks with "elite" as well as more "casual" players there is an awesome feel to OME these days and we are still growing.

    • Throne T1 is on farm and we are working on breaking Throne T2c
    • DOS T2c, SS T2c, BS T2c, Quays T2c, Featured Instances and other adhoc runs are all the norm daily
    • We also enjoy running older instances such as Tower of Orthanc (rainbow horses for all!)

When speaking to players wishing to join we consider personality, potential and gaming intelligence all part of the mix- no ego/drama and definitely no muppets.
We have a mature, down to earth chillaxed community who get stuff done and we would like to keep it that way.

I don't remember you, but I'm sorry if I've broken your heart somewhere along the line.
It's ok, it's not you it's me. Chin up, you'll find someone who loves you for who you are.

The words of the mighty Mirkovic of the Brandywine Server come to mind: "Try Harder, Be Better, Praise Be."

Keep on sharing that elitist, condescending tone........helps people see the real you. Good job.

I don't know why there are so many butthurt people complaining about Knight being 'elitist'.This kin is raiding kin,You have to know your class well and be good geared. There's really no reason to complain,If you're casual player just let it go,you don't have to join the kin anyway.
Raids are not just about you. It's about 12 people. So if you do not know your class well, not geared well enough or just have some internet connection problems, These things mean you're wasting 12 people's time. Fix them or basically don't join. It's that simple.
