    Error, cannot patch!

    I downloaded the 997mb trial client using TDM, and now, after log in, just after the game cursor appear, i got this windows that says "Error, cannot patch!" and a "Quit" button.

    Now i'm completely lost, i really want to test this game, but all got is a headache ¬¬

    Anyone could help?

    My advice would be to un-install what you have downloaded so far, including the TDM itself, and download one of the two Full Client options. TDM tends to be pretty buggy.

    The only drawback to going with the full client download instead of the TDM is that you won't be able to play right away till the full download is done and installed, but since TDM is buggy for you, you're not playing right away anyway.

    Error cannot patch comes up on Vista/Win7 occasionally, usually if you choose the "Cancel" option when launching TDM or the game and not letting it elevate to admin (the "cancel" or "allow" prompts from UAC). Sometimes though UAC is a bit "strict" and you might need to temporarily disable it to let TDM finish patching:

    Steps to disable UAC (Vista)
    Steps to disable UAC (Win 7)

    If it keeps up though definitely open a support request.

    After submitting that ticket be sure to log in to your email providers website directly.
