    Am I missing something or are there more quickslot bars than normal in those images? I count 3*24 in the bottom panel (6 bars worth) and another bunch at the top.

    I think the stuff at the top are the person's inventory bags with nothing around them.

    Re: Uth UI for Mirkwood

    This isn't working for me. I've been using a similar one called AzureGlass for some of my characters that I needed to adjust the layout manually. The problem seems to be two-fold. It didn't load in the textures, as in everything still looks the same, and when I ran the /ui command, it put bars in the wrong spots. Is this just me? Did anyone else try it?

    Are you playing on Bullroarer? This interface was designed to work with SoM, so if you are trying to use it on the live server, it may not work correctly since we don't have SoM on the live servers yet.

    Re: Uth UI for Mirkwood

    As Ignotus was saying, this is only coded to work with Mirkwood. Turbine changed the name of the main_bar in the skindef file so trying to use this ui on the client before today's update would not function as intended.

    Try it again today and see how it works out for you. When I get home tonight and while playing I will be monitoring this thread and Lotrointerface looking for posts by anyone having problems so I can address them then. Still keeping my fingers crossed that is goes as smoothly as my testing did on Bullroarer.

    Edit: This is in the known issues.

    UI
    Quickslot bars 3 and 5 do not load to their saved positions when using the command /ui layout save and /ui layout load

    Thumbs up Re: Uth UI for Mirkwood

    Thanks for this!

    Nice addition since DaimonUI is apparently borked until the weekend or longer as he reports over on LOTROInterface that being in Europe and had no Beta access.. he's behind the development curve.

    Re: Uth UI for Mirkwood

    Hmmm... I downloaded MultibarClean and "theoretically" followed the instructions...
    Those instructions are evidently now "incomplete."

    SoM had already created a ui/layouts directory for me since I was playing with the /ui command, so I simply created a "skins" sub directory.

    Copied the files from the Zip file into "skins"

    Renamed the "SkinDefinition-1024.xml" file to "SkinDefinition.xml"

    Looked for the skin in the ui options section... and all it showed was "none"
    Tried logging the tune out and back in -- still "none" only.

    Finally, quit the client and re-launced it... and, bingo, the the new UI showed up as a selectable option... and was applied as soon as I selected it.

    oops wrong thread...

    I'm having a problem with the dressing room on this UI. The top of the window opens above the top of my screen, and there is no image of my character, making it impossible to move the window and try anything on. Any advice?

    What resolution are you using?

    If it's under 1680x1050 you will have to rename SkinDefinition 1024x768 clearbags top to skindefinition.xml or the dressing room will not work.

    I am indeed using a lower resolution and that fixed my problem, Thanks!

    Re: Uth UI for Mirkwood

    When recommending that people use the /ui layout commands, you should make it clear that all their UI options will be overwritten. I haven't had time to mess with it, but perhaps it's possible to leave some of these options out of the .layout file? Theoretically, I expect if you left an option out, it would retain the old value. And there's certainly no reason to set options like EnableMovementMissModifier, as an example, as part of loading a custom ui layout.

    Code:
      <Options>
        <Option Name="AcceptDuels" Value="True"/>
        <Option Name="AcceptFellowshipRequests" Value="True"/>
        <Option Name="AcceptFriendsAndGuildTells" Value="False"/>

    Minor change to the file.

    Layout files were modified to not overwrite most of the settings that the user already has in place. It will still unlock and make your skill bars horizontal. UI buttons are still setup to default to bag1 so that they are invisible since skill induction is placed over the left side buttons.

    Thank you to Dom12 for the suggestion on the layout file modification.

    I downloaded and installed this the day SoM came out. I just cant tolerate the default UI after using custom ones for so long.

    I love it though! Some minor placements changes for my own preferences, but the overall layout is identical.

    Uth on Lotrointerface.com

    With this version I changed the vitals skin and added the wide crafting panel. One of the reasons I changed the vitals was because the old one didn’t show the full range of mob difficulties. The second reason was that shard droppers did not have the correct vitals and I was unable to fix the code to show it properly. I added in the wide version of the crafting panel because I craft from time to time and liked how much I was able to see with the new setup. There’s a few known issues with the crafting panel but they are cosmetic and do not affect the usability of the craft panel.

    So I decided to re-skin the Deed Log as well using a mix of two different UIs. I wanted to get some thoughts before I pushed out a new version.

    Ray's UI and Azure Glass

    Please remember, I'm not an artist and am unable to design UI elements myself. I am only able to use existing elements from UIs that are already made.
