Some excellent outfits here one and all. I'm returning to LOTRO after a bit of a sabbatical and I'm building up my new toon on a new server and I've an outfit idea I'm desperate to implement but unsure if there is anything in game that will work.

So anyway I'm looking for something that looks like plate mail and will dye white well. The idea behind this is I want to make an outfit that is reminiscent of the whitecloaks from Robert Jordans Wheel of Time series. Any ideas on what I could use for a chestpeice?

    Thanks in advance all!

Here's an outfit I've been using for my Lore-Master for a while

    Student of Celebrimbor:

    Shoulders: Wildermore Pauldrons
    Chest: Runemaker’s Armour
    Gloves: Gloves of Forbidden Love
Feet: Arrow of the West Boots

...And one more :-) This wonderful floral pattern on new midsummer cosmetics reminded me of the Vineyards of Lorien:

    Head: Harvest-Brew Circlet
    Shoulders: Shoulder Pads of Resolve
    Chest: Midsummer robe
    Gloves: Golden Host Gloves
    Feet: Aculf's Leather Boots
    Back: Treasure Hunter’s Satchel

very very nice outfits Lorinell! I like a lot the student of Celebrimbor, the shades of grey and white in the outfit are perfect for the theme, and you caught a nice perspective in the second and third screenshots Nice match also for the shoulder piece in the second outfit, the green dye is a nice match with the background and the dowsing gem

All but Gauntlets are available at Laila's Market.

Gauntlets - Tier 7 Crafted Heavy Armour. Calenard Battle Gauntlets. Default colour (I think)

    Pieces in Laila's Market:
Tunic/Hauberk - Ceremonial Tempered Iron Hauberk - 30 Mithril Coins - Default colour
Shoulders - Ceremonial Shoulder Guards of the Porbad - 20 Mithril Coins - Default colour (I think)
Head - Ceremonial Helm of the Laighathel - 20 Mithril Coins - Default colour

Link below to Spreadsheet done by Crell - shows the ingame names of pieces displayed in Market (if any) which is helpful if low on MC's

I've been a little lax about updating the piece by piece breakdowns for the monthly sets, but I just updated the tab for 'Worldwide-Set List', so you can see the breakdowns for the current month's manaquin offers by their original artist @CosmeticLotro and decide what's worth purchasing =)

    Hope its helpful

My baby runekeeper has entered Moria, and chose to wear a leather outfit suited for travelling in the middle of ruins and debris, but still light enough to let freedom of movement, and keep a runekeeper-y look to it. orange dye had a nice look on the ost dunhoth set I used here, and the skirt dyes a nice deep black.
She is no timid elf maiden, but a tough fighter, quick to anger and capable of even lifting rocks in the air!

chest: Lesser Secret of the West Breastplate, orange dye, barter in Harndirion, Enedwaith

hands: Lesser Secret of the West Gauntlets, orange dye, barter in Harndirion, Enedwaith

legs: Cleanweave leggings, black dye, dunland quest reward

feet: Lesser Arrow of the West Boots, orange dye, barter in Harndirion, Enedwaith
