    Scrubbed does not mean removed in this case. There were issues where the bonuses on food were completely out of whack from one rank to the next. I went through them all so they now increase bonuses correctly as their rank increases.

    So let me get this straight. Freeps get absolutely NOTHING for going to the moors. I mean zero. The black horse is pointless now that you can take 12+ hits on the white horse and keep riding. And now, the one little thing we did have left (insignias) can only be used in the moors after the next book?

    Keep taking the bones away and the dog is going to find something else to do. Just keep doing it and see what happens, you're gonna have a bunch "pvp" zones with nothing but creeps in it. Its already happened on arkenstone.

    Looks like steps in the right direction, but there are some concerns.

    1) More potions? Don't we have to PvE enough to PvP already? Now we have to do it more to afford even more potions. Instead, why don't you give each race the associated potion as a skill, and give defilers or warleaders skills that emulate these potions usable on others?

    2) We need more slots. Giving us more corruptions to fix balance issues doesn't really help if we have to ditch everything to use them. Passives would be better.

    3) Morale.

    4) (copied from someone else)
    - 8 second stun/daze immunity when recovering from a stun/daze, just like the freeps have.

    Please keep communicating with us. We'd much rather know what is coming and have a chance to give feedback early enough to influence it than have it dropped on us.

    as in scrubbed clean? spruced up? :P this I can deal with lol Makes alot more sense, I always thought the values were a little odd rank-to-rank, whether nerfed or buffed im glad they were fixed.(though you can certanily guess what im hoping for )

    No. My Creep should be able to stand hand in hand with a Freep. It should IN NO WAY be that I need a small group of creeps to take down 1 freep let alone a raid of creeps to destroy a 6-man of freeps. No, no, and no. How the hell are you confusing these creep enhancements for freep nerfs?

    Thanks for making the item more worthless. It was a cool item to use in some fun ways in PVE. You take more and more meaning out of PVP by making items not usable in both areas. Considering most everything from PVE can be used in all areas (minus DF...)

    Basically why even bother trying to rank when we continuously get nothing worth calling a reward for the effort? Not that I need rewards for pvping other than the satisfaction of defeating another human, but some incentive is nice.

    Just one thing for now:

    Please increase the amount of corruptions that we can equip to at least seven. We really shouldn't have to make super difficult decisions about health, damage, mits, crit mits, and resistances. Seven slots still means a tough decision, but we're really going to need them.

    Needs another note here to make more sense, one that wasn't included in what Frelorn has above:

    -The duration of the protection buff from Akulhun’s Brands and Lainedhal’s Insignias has been increased from 15 seconds to 60 seconds.

    Since the change alters the duration of the buff, we decided to make the Insignias PvMP only, so they would not interfere with PvE.

    However, if the larger list doesn't contain class-specific changes, and especially an increase in weaver morale and DPS, you haven't fixed anything worth a damn.

    Fingers still crossed for Weaver Windlore!

    I'm thinking a universal CC timer, however nice, and balancing it would be, would at best be a long way off and at worst...never gonna happen.

    As for base health and power? these are the leat of my issues, I want to see creeps given a way to decrease freep DPS or have our own increased. I'm not saying we don't need more morale, it isnt at the top of my wishlist.

    oh wow...That actually makes them really usefull! (instead of just situationally)

    Well, if you don't get rewards, why not go to the moors just because it's fun? If you're not having fun, then don't go. Simple. Having fun in epic battles against other human players is what it's about. It's something to do when you've hit 60 and got all your gear. Go for fun because it's something to do when you've already done it all.

    Besides, if PvMP rewarded freeps then the hard-core PvE freeps who don't PvP would complain that it's not fair that you have PvP to get something as special as an insignia. So you can blame them for whining so much about how they don't want to be forced to PvP, even though no one is breaking their arm to even if PvPers get special perks.

    And you get the black horse cuz it's the coolest looking horse in the game--as opposed to a goat. I still can't believe people would spend time earning the rep and the gold to buy a goat. So ugly.... I'd rather get knocked off my black horse faster than ride any other horse. It's all about the looks, you know.

    Anyway, I do agree it would be nice to get better gear than the Barney purple gear, but again, PvEers complain that they don't get it too. Personally, I think all that could be solved by offering gear that is the same as, say, radiance gear, but one piece at a time per rank as is currently the system. As in, replace the Barney gear with radiance gear pieces. The end. Honestly, I think for most freeps its a longer grind to get all of the PvMP armour pieces rank by rank than it is to grind instances. PvEers shouldn't complain because they have an easier way to get it without ranking. Hard-core PvPers should be allowed to get nice gear too without having to grind instances. Casual in-betweenie players that like both PvP and PvE can do a combination of instances and PvPing to get the full set if they want. Problem solved.

    As in the purple hele armour? Ugh don't you remember the droves of new freeps that came out to grind their way to rank 4 or 5....no thanks. I mean the easy infamy was nice but that crowd solidified the STAB or grams (often in those days) zerg that plaugues every server.

    • The following skills no longer force auto-attack on or off: Blinding Dust, Blood Lust, Charge, Glory in Victory, Hamstring, Time-Out, Upper Hand, Catch Prey, Clinging Webs, Entangling Webs, Feat, Necrosis, Web the Earth, Call the Shadow, Flea Bitten, Rend Flesh, Shadow Howler.
    • The following skills now force auto-attack on: Hatchlings, Smothering Web, No You Don’t, Vital Target.
    • The following skills now force auto-attack off: Grasping Web, Paralytic Venom, Shadow’s Bite, Snaring Web, Sprint.
    • Mitigation Corruptions will no longer have penalties. Additionally, the values for all non-common mitigation corruptions have been increased.
    • Resistance passives have been increased in value.
    • Resistance Corruptions have been increased (for both bonus and penalty).
    • Creep vendor and barter foods have been scrubbed. There will no longer be any issues where barter food is less desirable than vendor food or where higher ranked vendor/barter food is less desirable than lower ranked vendor/barter food.
    • The heal and power restore values for the Stinking Poultice, Bubbling Potion, Blood of Man, and Blood of the Fair Folk potion sets have been increased.
    • Monster Players will now have access to a set of new Critical Protection Boost corruptions. These corruptions will decrease the chance that an enemy will land a critical or devastating critical hit on the monster player. The basic Critical Protection Boost corruption is available at Rank 2 from the monster player trainer. The advanced Critical Protection Boost corruption is available at Rank 4 from the Core Corruptions trader.
    • Armour passives from Monster Players will now have a small bonus to critical protection for both normal and devastating critical attacks.
    • Draught of Troll Bile no longer shares a cooldown timer with the tracking talismans.
    • Heal, heal over time, and damage over time skills will now properly critical.

    Four new corruptions have been added for Monster Players. These corruptions are available at the following ranks and values:

    1. Rank 2 (Trainable): Weapon Mitigation Boost (Rank 1) – adds +270 Ancient Dwarf, Beleriand, and Westernesse mitigation rating
    2. Rank 3 (Barter): Weapon Mitigation Boost (Rank 2) – adds +360 Ancient Dwarf, Beleriand, and Westernesse mitigation rating
    3. Rank 4 (Trainable): Skill Mitigation Boost (Rank 1) – adds +270 Fire, Frost, Light, and Lightning mitigation rating
    4. Rank 5 (Barter): Skill Mitigation Boost (Rank 2) – adds +360 Fire, Frost, Light, and Lightning mitigation rating


    The Quartermaster NPC will now offer Monster Players several new potions.

    1. Bottled Uruk Effluvium: removes one physical and one wound effect
    2. Bottled Orc Scream: removes one song and one disease effect
    3. Bottled Spider Chitter: removes one cry and one poison effect
    4. Bottled Warg Breath: removes one tactical and one fear effect

    Please note that these new potions will only remove effects that show a resistance type in the effect’s tooltip. For example, Effect A lists Resistance: Tactical; the Bottled Warg Breath will remove the effect. Effect B does not show any resistance type in the tooltip; none of the potions will remove the effect.

    Freeps

    • Lainedhal’s Insignias can no longer be used in areas outside of the Ettenmoors. These items now require that the player is inside a PvMP area.
    • The Chest of Glain Vraig, Chest of the Second Marshall, and Chest of the First Marshall have had their loot tables updated.
    • Boss monsters in the Delving of Fror will now drop level appropriate loot.
    • The slow portion of Dust in the Eyes will now be properly removed on defeat.


    So here are just some of the changes we have in store for Book 7. We will release more information about upcoming changes in the weeks to come.
