    Plugin For Viewing Alt's Equipment?

I know several plugins are made available for viewing alt inventory or storage (I use TitanBar, personally), but is there one that logs currently equipped items on an alt so that my crafters can see at a glance if they can make armor or weapons that is better than what they currently have equipped?

As is, I need to write down each piece, and I'm wasting a lot of time doing it.

AltInventory used to allow viewing of equipped items and that functionality was supposed to be moved into AltViewer. Unfortunately, there is currently a fairly significant bug in the LotRO Lua client which crashes the game client when equipped items are accessed and either the plugin is unloaded/reloaded multiple times or the user switches characters (logging out to character selection and back in without restarting the client). For this reason, the Equipped Items page of AltViewer has not been published. The bug was initially reported over a year ago (back when EquippedItems was still part of AltInventory and was crashing the client) and has since been reported a couple of times with additional information on reproducing the bug, the most recent report was back in August. Unfortunately, since Turbine has not officially allocated any resources to Lua and the devs working on it have to do so on their own time, it is unlikely that even such a critical bug as a client crash will be fixed any time soon (other client crashes which are both easier to reproduce and far easier to fix have not been fixed even though they have been reported multiple times for over three years now).

    EDIT:
Additionally, the interface exposed to Lua for equipped items is very limited - the actual ItemID is not exposed nor are the item properties, just the name and icon information so it was of limited use anyway. We have been asking Turbine to add the ItemID to the ItemInfo object for quite some time but there has been no response so we don't know if there are any plans to expand on the exposed information or if Turbine is going to simply stop expanding support for Lua, leaving it in its partially functional state.

Thank you for the in depth answer. It's much appreciated. Hopefully it will be addressed eventually.
