The following terms and conditions apply to the 10-Day Free Trial Program (the "Free Trial") for The Lord of the Rings Online™, inclusive of any content updates and/or expansion packs, if any (the "Game") played on servers hosted by Turbine, Inc. ("Turbine") in North America. Participation in the Free Trial is optional and voluntary.
You should review Turbine's Privacy Policy before participating in the Free Trial. Turbine will use your email address in accordance with the terms and conditions of its Privacy Policy. Your acceptance of and compliance with the applicable End User License Agreement, Code of Conduct and Terms of Service is required. Turbine reserves the right to terminate your account if you violate such end user agreements.
Only players located in North America, Australia and New Zealand are eligible for the Free Trial . Gameplay requires Internet connection. You are responsible for your own telecommunications charges. Your personal computer must meet certain minimum system requirements to play the Game; however, the recommended system requirements are advised for better performance. Gameplay is subject to network and server availability and may be interrupted by the service provider for testing and system and software updates. Free Trial accounts have no cash value and are non-refundable and non-transferable. The Free Trial is void where prohibited. The Free Trial is subject to change and may be suspended or terminated by Turbine at any time for any or no reason, and with or without notice.
