Class Travel Abilities and Skills

Several classes in The Lord of the Rings Online have the ability to move themselves, or others, across great distances.

Hunter
Hunters are the masters of field and forest. They use their survival skills to guide their companions across the whole of Middle-earth. Traveling with a hunter can be the quickest and least expensive way to travel across great distances. Only the Hunter requires travel rations when using their skills.

Captain
At level 40 Captains gain the passive skill, Summoning Horn Use. This allows the Captain to summon any member of their fellowship or raid to their exact position almost anywhere in the world. You will need five travel rations and must be of high enough level to enter the area where the captain is summoning you.

Guardian
Guardians always honor their promise to defend and protect their companions. At level 30 they gain the skill, Guardian’s Promise. This enables them to craft special acorn whistles and give or mail them to their companions and friends. Using the whistle will summon the Guardian to your side.
