Your adventures in The Lord of the Rings Online™ will take you from the pastoral fields of the Shire to the frozen vastness of the Misty Mountains and countless points between and beyond. Travel across such distances can be tiring even for sturdy Hobbit feet. Fortunately, there are many ways to move about Middle-earth that don’t require skipping elevenses.
Milestones and Map Home
Once you’ve completed the new player introduction you’ll receive a map home. With it you can use any milestoneto set a home point. Milestones can be found through out Middle-earth. Using your map will immediately transport you back to the last milestone you set as your home point.
Mustering Horns
Mustering Horns are located outside quest instances. Mustering horns are used to summon any member of your party or raid to the mustering camp. Using the horn requires one travel ration from the player doing the summoning and one from the player being summoned. Players cannot be summoned to an area that greatly exceeds their level abilities. Players cannot be summoned from within an instance.
