When the days shorten and the nights begin to cool, it’s time to celebrate the bounty of the harvest. All the races of Middle-earth celebrate this time the Elves call Iavasmereth. Everyone gathers at the Bree festival grounds for the Harvestmath events that include bobbing for apples, pumpkin picking, Elf jewels – a shell game with an Elfish twist – and the Dwarf favorite Geode Surprise!
No festival in Middle-earth would be complete with out the exciting racing events put on by the Shire and Bree-land stable masters. richly outfitted horses and ponies can be won by the swiftest riders!
Fall is also the time for playing tricks. Adventurers should be sure to travel to all the towns of Middle-earth to participate in some extra special quests. Craftsmen have created special masks for the occasion!
